PERRY, Ga. — With two days remaining at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo, Team South Dakota is in fourth place in the team standings.

St. Charles cowboy Taos Weborg is currently first in bareback riding (151) and third in the bull riding average (124). Highmore’s Talong Ping is in second place in the bareback riding (141), 14th in the bull riding (69.5) and 38th in the tie-down roping average (16.49). 

Martin’s Talon Krolikowski sits first in the chute dogging average (6.52) and eighth in the saddle bronc riding average (114). 

Ridgeview’s Kanton Hunt is in 10th place in the boys breakaway roping (12.18). Wall’s Cayne Merrill is fifth in the boys goat tying while Spearfish cowgirl Tiersyn Grubb is fourth in the girls goat tying (16.74). 

Isabel’s Hayes Burress is in third place in the tie-down roping average (23.69). The team of Sern and Slone Weishaar of Belle Fourche are in third place in the team roping competition while Brand Higenkamp of Wall and Carrie Hammerstrom of New Underwood sit ninth in the team roping average.
