Wall's Burk Blasius, Cedar Amiotte named Western Great Plains Conference MVPs

Wall swept the individual awards and landed six players on this year’s Western Great Plains All-Conference football team. 

Wall’s Burk Blasius was named offensive MVP and Cedar Amiotte was the defensive MVP. Lex Heathershaw was selected as the conference coach of the year. 

In addition to Blasius and Amiotte, Rylan McDonnell, Blair Blasius, Norman Livermont and Mason Heath were all-conference selections for the Eagles. James Livermont was an honorable mention selection. 

Lyman’s Teagan Gourneau, Cooper Long, Gunner Johnson, Tance Wagner and Rory McManus were all-conference honorees. Lyman’s Kellen Griffith was an honorable mention honoree. 

Philip’s Gage Ravellette, Samuel Hand, Ryker Peterson, Layton Terkildsen and Jess Jones were all-conference selections. Colden Kramer was an honorable mention selection for the Scotties. 

Kadoka Area’s Reece Ohrtman, Gabriel Fauske and Layne Palmer were all-conference honorees. Ian VanderMay was an honorable mention selection. 

Jones County’s Matthew Birkeland and Dylan Fuoss were selected to the all-conference team. Cooper Fedderson was an honorable mention honoree. 

White River’s Gavin Folkers and Ryatt Wooden Knife were selected to the all-conference team. Kendrell Cuevas was an honorable mention honoree for the Tigers. 

New Underwood’s Cole Knuppe and Jaxon Fulton were all-conference honorees, while Cash Albers was an honorable mention selection. 

Bennett County’s Adam Byrne was selected to the all-conference team and Tyce Gropper was an honorable mention selection.
