Wagner 49, Corsica-Stickney 36

WAGNER — Wagner pulled away from Corsica-Stickney for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Wagner’s Ashlyn Koupal finished with 16 points, six rebounds, six assists and five blocked shots. Braxton Nedved added nine points and three rebounds. Lydia Yost had eight points, eight assists and five rebounds. Hayden Knudsen scored eight points. Ravyn Medricky scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds.

For Corsica-Stickney, Braylee Bordewyk recorded 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Haydnn Johnson had 11 points and 11 boards. Sophie DeLange tallied six points, five rebounds and four assists. 


Spearfish 60, St. Thomas More 37

SPEARFISH — Four players scored in double figures to pace Spearfish to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Spearfish’s Mya Kochuten recorded 17 points and hit five 3-pointers. Kate Scharf had 13 points and three 3-pointers. Avery Kirk recorded 11 points and hit three 3-pointers. Jozie Dana finished with 11 points.

For STM, Riley Gylten tallied 11 points and Rachel Hyde scored 10 points. Madison Boyum scored six points.

 

Mahpiya Luta 83, Pine Ridge 41

PINE RIDGE --- Ashlan Carlow-Blount powered Class A No. 2 Mahpiya Luta to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Carlow-Blount recorded 22 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.


Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 66, Hanson 47

FORESTBURG — Liz Boschee’s 25 points helped Sanborn Central-Woonsocket over Hanson Tuesday.

Boschee finished with 25 points and eight rebounds, Alexa Goertz totaled 16 points, six rebounds and four steals, Addi Bartholow had nine points, while Kaylie Robinson collected six assists in the win.

Hanson’s Kylie Haiar led with 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists, while Grace Arend added nine points in the loss.


McCook Central/Montrose 63, Baltic 51

SALEM — Four players scored in double figures to pace McCook Central/Montrose to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

MCM’s Mya Morrison finished with 14 points and seven rebounds. Cami McGuire added 13 points. Ella DeKnikker and Karlie Stiefvater scored 12 points apiece. Stiefvater and Brooke Heumiller had six rebounds apiece. Mandi Schock added five points and six boards.

For Baltic, Harper Kortemeyer finished with 17 points and four rebounds. Meredith Larson had 15 points and eight rebounds. Caitlyn Pickett added 13 points and six boards. 


Custer 55, Rapid City Christian 53

RAPID CITY — Custer clipped Rapid City Christian in girls basketball action on Tuesday. 

Custer stats were not reported. 

Rapid City Christian’s Brynn Casey scored 17 points and Nora Kieffer added 11 points. Lydia Williams scored seven points. 


Deubrook Area 58, Dell Rapids St. Mary 45

WHITE — A balanced scoring attack powered Deubrook Area to a girls basketball victory Tuesday night.

Kylee Johnson and Mataya Gouws led the Dolphins with 11 points each, Matte Bauman had 10 points, while Peyton Trooien and Zoey Molengraaf each added nine points apiece in the win.

DRSM’s Madala Hanson tallied a game-high 19 points, Maddyn LeBrun had 11 points while Jenna Miller recorded 10 points in the loss.


Colman-Egan 54, Castlewood 39

CASTLEWOOD — Kaylee Voelker’s 22-points powered Colman-Egan to a girls basketball victory Tuesday.

Voelker finished with 22 points and three rebounds, Brynlee Landis added 16 points and seven rebounds, while Jolie Flatten had five points and four rebounds in the win.

Castlewood’s Sophia Kudrna led with nine points, six rebounds and three assists, Bryn Schooley had eight points and nine rebounds, Cassidy Kirwan collected seven points, while Claire Horn tallied six points in the loss.


Faulkton Area 45, Northwestern 39

FAULKTON — Two players scored in double figures as Faulkton Area earned a girls basketball victory Tuesday.

Carley Cotton led the Trojans with 16 points, six steals, four rebounds and four assists, Anika Mueller had 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Brooklyn Mueller tallied six points and three rebounds in the win.

Northwestern’s Adriana Ratigan tallied 13 points and seven rebounds, Tara Blachford totaled 10 points, four steals and three rebounds, while Josie Sparling and Ashley Haven each had seven points in the loss.


Gayville-Volin 56, Scotland-Menno 37

MENNO — Gayville-Volin pulled away from Scotland-Menno for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

GV’s Taylor Hoxeng finished with 18 points, while Maia Achen had 10 points and eight rebounds. Ali Westrum had eight rebounds.

For Scotland-Menno, Ellyana Ulmer, Lexie McNinch and Kyliah Bjorum had nine points apiece. McNinch added six rebounds. 


Sioux Valley 59, De Smet 32

DE SMET — Kailey Cradduck and Liberty Trygstad combined for 38 points as Sioux Valley defeated De Smet during Tuesday’s high school girls baseball action.

Cradduck finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists, Trygstad tallied 18 points, three rebounds and two assists, while Keyra Kruse added nine points, seven rebounds and three assists in the win.

DS’s Hazel Luethmers tallied 19 points and four rebounds, while Brooke Jennings had five points and four rebounds in the loss.


Beresford 63, Irene-Wakonda 28

BERESFORD — Ella Merriman scored 25 points in Beresford’s victory over Irene-Wakonda Tuesday.

Merriman finished with 25 points, Harley Koth had 11 points, while Lily Sievert tallied 10 points.

IW’s Madison Orr scored 10 points in the loss


Wolsey-Wessington 51, Sunshine Bible Academy 34

MILLER — Kendal Uttecht powered Wolsey-Wessington with 22 points in the Warbirds victory over Sunshine Bible Academy Tuesday.

Uttecht finished with 22 points, six rebounds and three steals, Taylor Eichstadt tallied eight points, six steals, five rebounds and four assists, Kenli Hooks had nine points and five rebounds, while Raya Toupal tallied eight points and five assists in the win.

SBA’s Ciera Mickelson recorded 13 points and eight rebounds, Abby Hinman had nine points, six steals, three rebounds and three assists, while Breanna Thieman tallied five points in the loss.


Sioux Falls Washington 52, Sioux Falls Lincoln 31

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 3 Sioux Falls Washington used a balanced-scoring attack to pick up a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Washington’s Josie Biteler recorded 14 points, five assists, four rebounds and four 3-pointers. Dana Harpe added nine points and four assists. Claire Woods and Rylan Kennett scored eight points apiece. Layla Berte had six points. 

For Lincoln, Kierra Lubovich finished with 17 points.
