Wall’s Cash Wilson moves into second place at College National Finals Rodeo

CASPER, Wyo. — Wall High School graduate and Tarleton State University saddle bronc rider Cash Wilson moved into second place after three rounds at the College National Finals Rodeo. 

On Wednesday, the junior scored a 76.5-point ride in the third go-round and jumped up into second place in the current saddle bronc standings. Wilson has a three-round score of 226.5 points, putting him in position to make Saturday’s championship finals. McNeese State’s Shea Fournier (234) sits No. 1 in the standings. 

 

Wilson’s teammate, Brody Wells, was in third place after two rounds of the saddle bronc riding. Wells won’t ride again until Friday, while there’s more saddle bronc riders set to ride Thursday. 

As a team, Tarleton State is second in the men’s team standings with 325 points. Missouri Valley College leads with 380 points.
