GREGORY — Holding a lead entering the final matches of Saturday’s Burke/Gregory wrestling tournament Bon Homme/Avon had just enough to hold off a hard-charging Miller/Highmore-Harrold team. 

Bon Homme/Avon racked up 207 points, ahead of M/H-H (194.5) and Burke/Gregory (114.5). Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington (102.5) and Stanley County (102) rounded out the top-five teams. 

Miller/Highmore-Harrold won titles from Talon Ping (126), Kellan Hurd (138), Teagan Foreman (144), Ryder Rowland (157), Colby Kolda (167). 

Bon Homme/Avon had titles from Tyler Tjeerdsma (150), Isaiah Crownover (190) while Marion/Freeman athletes Brody Gossen (113) and Easton Tschetter (120) each won titles. Burke/Gregory’s Judd Hansen won at (106) while Redfield had two champions in Connor Zens (132) and Grady Fey (285).
