HARTFORD — The Centerville boys and Baltic girls won Region 3B golf titles on Monday at Central Valley Golf Course. 

The Centerville boys shot a 270, finishing ahead of Freeman (271) by one stroke. The Tornadoes and Flyers qualified their teams for the state meet on June 3-4 in Brookings.

The Baltic girls shot a 329, finishing ahead of Garretson (335) for the team title. Baltic and Garretson qualified their teams for the state meet on June 3-4 in Brookings.

Individually, Centerville’s Cullen Pollard (82) was the individual medalist. Pollard shot a 40 on the front nine and 42 on the back nine. Centerville’s Corbin Tople (87) and Freeman’s Tannen Auch (87) tied for second place. Viborg-Hurley’s Bryson Morrison (89) placed fourth. 

Baltic’s Claire Berg (91) was the girls individual medalist. Freeman Academy/Marion’s Jada Buse (94) and Parker’s Lauren Patten (102) placed second and third, respectively.
