Evans recently placed seventh at the Class A state cross-country meet, finishing in 18 minutes and :48.91 seconds. She helped the Cubs placed second as a team, their third straight runner-up finish.

As a junior, Evans placed sixth in the Class A 3,200-meter run (11:17.58) and eighth in the 1,600-meter run (5:17.36). She added a 13th place finish in the 800-meter run (2:26.90) and she was the lead runner on the Cubs’ 3,200-meter relay team, finishing sixth in 9:56.79.
