CHESTER — The Chester boys and Colman-Egan girls won team titles at Tuesday’s Chester Invitational. 

The Chester boys recorded 145 points, finishing ahead of Colman-Egan (126) and Dell Rapids St. Mary (107). The Colman-Egan girls logged 161 points, ahead of Dell Rapids St. Mary (131) and Chester (108). 

In boys action, Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Lucas Flemmer edged Chester’s Jovi Wolf in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. Flemmer won the 100-meter dash in :11.06, while Wolf ran a :11.31. In the 200-meter dash, Flemmer posted a :22.30 and Wolf ran a :22.37. Wolf won the triple jump (41-9). 

Flemmer also anchored the winning 400-meter relay (:45.61) and 1,600-meter relay (3:39.62), both were school records. 

Chester’s Zachery Moyer won the 110-meter hurdles (:16.30) and finished second in the 300-meter hurdles (:48.19). 

Colman-Egan’s Jackson Zwart won the 300-meter hurdles (:44.48), placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (:17.46), the long jump (17-5.5) and finished third in the triple jump (35-9). Zwart was a member of the winning 800-meter relay (1:34.62). 

The Colman-Egan quartet of Christopher Lee, Jackson Zwart, Jack Mousel and Jase Mousel won the 800-meter relay (1:34.62). Jase Mousel won the long jump (20-4.5). 

Garretson’s Blaine Tower won the 400-meter run (9:03.64) and was a member of the winning 3,200-meter relay (9:03.64). Garretson’s Carter Siemonsma (800-meter winner) and Josh Gilbert (1,600-meter winner) were also on the 3,200-meter team. 

Chester’s JD Prorok won the shot put (45-5.25) and placed second in the discus (118-5). 

In girls action, Colman-Egan’s Lanie Mousel won the long jump (14-11) and triple jump (31-0). Daniela Lee won the 100-meter dash (:12.86), Colman-Egan’s Michoen Williamson won the shot put (34-8.75) and Quinn Meyer won the high jump (4-9) for Colman-Egan. 

The Colman-Egan girls won the 400-meter relay (:54.16), 800-meter relay (1:53.79), 3,200-meter relay (10:32.93) and sprint medley relay (4:36.42). 

Chester’s Jacy Wolf won the 400-meter dash (1:04.87), 100-meter hurdles (:16.46) and placed third in the 200-meter dash (:27.89). 

Chester’s Emery Larson won the 800-meter run (2:23.22). 

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard won the 1,600-meter run (5:42.97), while she ran the lead leg on the winning 1,600-meter relay (4:34.55). 

Howard’s Briella Wettlaufer won the 3,200-meter run (13:11.24) and placed second in the 1,600-meter run (5:59.35). 

Howard’s Melanie Calmus won the 200-meter dash (:26.89) and placed second in the long jump (14-9). 

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Jaycee Tebay won the discus (102-0) and finished third in the shot put (31-0.25).
