PARKER — The Chester girls and Sioux Valley boys claimed team titles at Thursday’s Big East Conference meet.

The Chester girls scored 153 points to take the team title, ahead of Sioux Valley (120) and Beresford (112). The Sioux Valley boys won the team title with 138 points, ahead of Baltic (119) and Garretson (98).

On the girls’ side, Parker/Marion’s Braelyn Berens captured the 100-meter dash (:11.98) and 200-meter dash (:26.07).

Chester’s Emmerson Eppard won the 400-meter dash (1:01.56), the 1,600-meter race (5:41.04) and took second in the 800-meter run (2:24.55).

Flandreau’s Faith Wiese won the 800-meter race (2:17.02).

Baltic’s Sadey Holt won the 3,200-meter run (12:54.32).

Chester’s Jacy Wolf swept the hurdle events, capturing both the 100-meter hurdles (:15.35) and 300-meter hurdles (:48.87).

Parker/Marion’s Karley Luke, Emma Tuschen, Elizabeth Piehl and Berens won the 400-meter relay (:51.30).

Garretson’s Ava Peters, Lydia Frerk, Tenley Siemonsma and Harper Andera won the 800-meter relay (1:54.96).

Flandreau’s Ella Hoffman, Rona Streitz, Rhegan Sheppard and Kiley Westberry captured the 1,600-meter relay (4:08.19).

Sioux Valley’s Maci Licht, Talya Vincent, Amia Ward and Kailey Cradduck won the 3,200-meter relay (10:27.37) while Amari Ward, Audrey Larsen, Amia Ward and Vincent won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (4:38.06).

In the field events, Chester’s Isabela Schmidt won the discus throw (113-09).

PM’s Avary Thomas won the javelin throw (97-11) while teammate Jersey Lessman captured the shot put title (35-00.50).

SV’s Emma Gorvin won the high jump (5-02).

McCook Central/Montrose’s Mandi Schock secured the long jump (16-02.50) and the triple jump (34-05.25) title.

On the boys’ side, Parker/Marion’s Colin Robertson won the 100-meter dash (:10.90).

Baltic’s Dylan Runestad won the 200-meter dash (:23.77).

Sioux Valley’s Brady Hiltunen won the 400-meter dash (:50.73) while teammate Carson Wosje won the 800-meter run (2:02.60).

Garretson’s Carter Siemosma won the 1,600-meter run (4:53.89).

Flandreau’s Logan Kontz captured the 3,200-meter run (10:38.89).

Chester’s Zach Moyer won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.22).

Baltic’s Ben Berg secured the 300-meter hurdles (:43.53).

Chester’s Mason Ahlers, Micah Oechsle, Moyer and Teegan Hodne won the 400-meter relay (:45.34).

SV’s Mitchell Guthmiller, Hunter Steinhaus, Hiltunen and Wosje won the 800-meter relay (1:33.54) and the 1,600-meter relay (3:29.76).

Garretson’s Siemonsma, Ethan McGregor, Chase Costello and Jackson Arend won the 3,200-meter relay (9:17.09).

Parker/Marion’s Domani Butler, Bo Stone, Robertson and Caleb Christiansen won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:49.59).

In the field events, SV’s Wyatt Nelson won the discus (141-04).

Chester’s JD Prorok captured the javelin throw (136-07) and shot put (49-10).

Baltic’s Kellen Artz won the high jump (6-00).

McCook Central/Montrose’s Owen Schmidt won the long jump (21-02.50).

Sioux Valley’s Braden Danzeisen won the triple jump (42-06.00).
