Sioux Falls Christian is one game away from its first-ever Class 11A championship game berth. 

The Chargers, who have two Class 11B state titles, bumped up to Class 11A in 2018 and they’ve separated themselves as the team to beat this season. No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian (10-0) hosts No. 4 West Central (7-3) and looks to continue its dominant season. 

The Chargers defeated the Trojans, 42-13, in the season opener and is the last undefeated team in Class 11A. Sioux Falls Christian knocked off Rapid City Christian, 58-23, in the Class 11A playoffs last week. 

The Chargers average 38.6 points per game and allow 10.8 points per game on defense. 

West Central is riding a four-game winning streak, including last week’s 14-6 win over Madison in the Class 11A playoffs. West Central scores 33.5 points per game and allows 18.7 points per game on defense. 

In the other semifinal, No. 2 Dell Rapids (8-2) hosts No. 3 Lennox (8-2) in another rematch between two Dak-XII Conference teams. The Quarriers defeated the Orioles, 26-12, on Oct. 24 in Lennox. 

Dell Rapids’ two losses have come against Dakota Valley (22-14) and Sioux Falls Christian (21-0). The Quarriers average 30.1 points per game and allow 13.3 points per game on defense. 

Lennox has lost to Sioux Falls Christian (19-8) and Dell Rapids (26-12). The Orioles blanked Canton, 50-0, in the playoffs last week. Lennox scores 38.4 points per game and allows 15.7 points per game on defense.
