LAKE ANDES — Burke, the defending Class B state track champions looked sharp at Tuesday’s South Central Conference meet in Lake Andes. 

Burke senior Paige Bull won the shot put (36-06.75) and discus (133-11). Defending Class B champion in the high jump, Emily Diekmann won the high jump (5-02), the 200-meter dash (:28.43) and teamed with Braelyn Duerfeldt, Addi Hood and Breckyn Pistulka to win the 800-meter relay (1:51.69). 

Other Burke winners Tuesday were Duerfeldt in the 100-meter dash (:13.86), Daytona Paris in the 100-meter hurdles (:18.14), Hood in the 300-meter hurdles (:52.50) and Daytona Paris in the triple jump (27-04.50).

Burke won the 400-meter relay (:53.54) and the 3,200-meter relay (10:48.45). 

Other winners on the girls side were Platte Geddes’ Taylor Schrank in the 400-meter run (1:04.21), Schank in the 800-meter run (2:41.37), Kimball/White Lake’s Autumn Baker in the 1,600-meter run (5:26.58), Kimball/White Lake’s Lily Baker in the 3,200-meter run (11:56.27), Andes Central in the 1,600-meter relay (4:59.44), Gregory’s Dani VanDerWerff in the javelin (108-00) and Andes Central/Dakota Christian’s Cambria Ronfeldt in the long jump (14-09). 

In boys action Platte-Geddes senior Quincy Stephens won the 400-meter dash (:52.66) and ran legs on the winning 400-meter relay (:44.30) and 800-meter relay (1:33.83). 

Other winners for Platte-Geddes included Gabe Fite in the 300-meter hurdles (:44.61), Max Miller in the javelin (126-08) and the 3,200-meter relay team (9:18.49). 

Kimball/White Lake also had a strong day with Lincoln Kranig winning the 100-meter dash (:11.56) and 200-meter dash (:22.64). Park Sinclair won the 1,600-meter run (4:51.52) and 3,200-meter run (10:42.33). 

The Gregory boys won four events as Finn Adams won the 800-meter run (2:06.21), Colt Keiser the high jump (6-04), Landon Keiser the long jump (19-06.5) and the quartet of Max Cook, Keiser, Adams and Pierce Stukel won the 1,600-meter relay (3:36.68). 

Andes Central/Dakota Christian picked up wins from Isaiah Milk in the 110-meter hurdles (:19.16), AJ Johnson in the shot put (44-08.50) and discus (124-01) and Jamian Medicine Horn the triple jump (38-04).
