Sioux Falls Christian 51, Hamlin 50

WATERTOWN — Sioux Falls Christian rallied past Hamlin for third place at the Class A girls basketball tournament on Saturday.

Sioux Falls Christian’s Lezlei Setzer finished with 18 points and eight rebounds. Emory Lems totaled 13 points and three rebounds. Oaklee Hadler added seven points and five assists. Makinli Reitsma had five points.

For Hamlin, Addie Neuendorf totaled 24 points and three 3-pointers. Sarita Stevenson added seven points, five rebounds and four assists. Issie Steffensen posted five points, five steals and five rebounds. Jade Thue had six points. Addie Jensen recorded four points and five boards. 


Sioux Valley 63, West Central 61

WATERTOWN — Three players scored in double figures to pace Sioux Valley to a consolation championship at Saturday’s Class A girls basketball tournament. 

SV’s Talya Vincent finished with 17 points, five rebounds and four assists. Amari Ward added 17 points, three rebounds and three assists. Liberty Trygstad had 11 points and seven assists. Kailey Cradduck and Avery Schmuck scored eight points apiece. 

For West Central, Ellie Knight and Kacey Jaton had 20 points and seven rebounds apiece. Mackenzie Skonhovd added seven points and four assists. Ayla Kramer posted six points. 


Lakota Tech 67, Wagner 64

WATERTOWN — Three players scored in double figures as Lakota Tech edged Wagner for a seventh-place finish at the Saturday’s Class A girls basketball tournament. 

LT’s Amelia Shangreaux recorded 28 points, four assists and three steals. Lizzie Robinson added 25 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals. Isabella Shangreaux had 10 points and five rebounds. 

For Wagner, Ashlyn Koupal recorded 32 points, 20 rebounds and five assists. Mateya Bruguier had 14 points and four assists. Braxton Nedved added 10 points, six assists and four rebounds. Ravyn Medricky posted seven points and seven rebounds.
