Sioux Valley 68, Lakota Tech 57

CHAMBERLAIN — A balanced scoring attack helped Sioux Valley edge Lakota Tech in So Dak 16 action Tuesday.

Alec Squires powered Sioux Valley with 22 points. Hudsyn Ruesink scored seven fourth-quarter points and finished with 15 points. Maxwell Engebretsen added 13 points and Maverick Nelson chipped in with eight points. 

Gilbert White Jr. led Lakota Tech with 23 points. Julian Tonche came off the bench to score 13 points and Riley Casey added 11 points. 


Hamlin 90, Hanson 43

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures as Hamlin raced past Hanson in Class A SoDak boys action.

Easton Neuendorf paced Hamlin with 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. Jackson Wadsworth hit seven 3-pointers and finished with 25 points. Tyson Stevenson scored 16 points and dished out five assists. Zac VanMeeteren added eight points for the Chargers.

Jayce Slaba led Hanson with 17 points. Cole Dewald finished with six points and Sutton Dewald added five points and two assists for the Beavers. 

Vermillion 68, Hot Springs 60 (2OT)

KADOKA — Vermillion outlasted Hot Springs in double overtime in SoDak 16 boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen logged 20 points and six rebounds. Bryson Skogsberg added 18 points, while Carter Hansen had 18 points and seven rebounds. Zoan Robinson scored 10 points.

Hot Springs’ Josh Kleinsasser scored 24 points. Aidyn Janis finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds. Matt Close scored 10 points, while Camron Maciejewski posted eight points and five rebounds.

Groton Area 69, Dell Rapids 55

WATERTOWN — Four players scored in double figures as Groton Area picked up a SoDak 16 boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Groton Area’s Ryder Johnson logged 20 points, five rebounds and four assists. Lane Tietz added 16 points and four rebounds. Keegan Tracy posted 14 points, while Jacob Zak had 10 points. Colby Dunker scored five points.

For Dell Rapids, Jack Henry had 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Tad Tjaden posted 10 points. Rhett Kloth, Cole Ruesink and Treyse Eastman logged six points apiece.
