Harrisburg 50, Sioux Falls Washington 48

SIOUX FALLS — Harrisburg outlasted Sioux Falls Washington for a third-place finish at the Class AA boys basketball tournament on Saturday.

Harrisburg’s Camden Phipps posted 17 points, while Braeden VanBockern posted 12 points. Jacoby Mehrman added seven points and three rebounds. Maddox Plack had six points and 14 rebounds. Alex Smith grabbed 11 rebounds.

Washington’s Samuel Baskin, Jhace Woods and Lubab Kambalo scored 10 points. Lucas Johnson had eight points, while Thomas Hoffman added five points and seven rebounds. Benjamin Sprecher had five points. 

Sioux Falls Jefferson 60, Watertown 58 

SIOUX FALLS — Dawson Sechser scored 14 points to lead Sioux Fall Jefferson to a fifth-place finish with a win over Watertown Saturday. 

Mason Payne added 13 points and Daniel Jones had 12 points. 

Dylon Rawdon led Watertown with 27 points. Marcus Rabine had eight points, while Kohen Kranz added seven points. 

The Cavaliers led 34-33 at halftime and 49-41 at the end of the third quarter. 

Huron 63, Sioux Falls Roosevelt 58 

SIOUX FALLS — Three players scored in double figures as Huron picked up a seventh-place finish at the Class AA boys basketball tournament on Saturday.

Blake Ellwein recorded 26 points and seven rebounds. C.J. Gainey and Anderson Porisch scored 13 points apiece. Carsen Evans had five points. 

Roosevelt’s Jamre Tiger finished with 14 points and five rebounds. Kamari Thomas scored 12 points. Hayden Goff posted 11 points and six rebounds. Naser Ismail scored eight points.
