RAPID CITY — Sioux Falls O’Gorman outlasted Brandon Valley in a Class AA five-set semifinal match on Friday. The set scores were 19-25, 25-21, 25-14, 22-25 and 15-13.

OG’s Lauren Venenga totaled 19 kills and seven digs. Reese Venenga added 14 kills and four digs. Makenzie Walsh had 12 kills and four digs. Londyn Smith recorded 45 assists, 15 digs and four blocks. Katie McKay had 17 digs. 

For BV, Abby Gruber recorded 16 kills, four blocks and three digs. Jersie Melcher added 15 kills and 12 digs. Jayaunna Stroh recorded 10 kills and 12 digs. Mya VanWesten had 16 digs. Logan McGuire totaled 43 assists and nine digs. Riya Sheley had four blocks. 

Harrisburg 3, Watertown 0

RAPID CITY — Harrisburg swept Watertown to advance to the Class AA state championship. The set scores were 25-18, 25-12 and 25-11.

Harrisburg’s Gabi Zachariasen finished with 13 kills, seven digs and two blocks. Bergen Stiff added eight kills and two blocks. Lindsay Langner added 10 digs. Kya Keegan totaled five blocks. Josalyn Samuels dished out 32 assists.

For Watertown, Siri Bach and Reese Munger totaled four kills apiece. Kynsee Russell had 15 assists and eight digs. 

Sioux Falls Lincoln 3, Mitchell 2

RAPID CITY — Sioux Falls Lincoln outlasted Mitchell in a five-set marathon during Friday’s consolation semifinals. The set scores were 26-24, 23-25, 25-18, 20-25 and 15-9.

Lincoln’s Ella Smith had 14 kills and four digs, Hannah Baron tallied 11 kills, 13 digs and two blocks, Mallory Schneider tallied 23 digs, 11 kills, 35 assists and three blocks, Camila Langenfeld totaled eight kills and 13 digs while Julia Blom had 21 digs, nine assists and three aces in the win.

Mitchell’s Addie Siemsen had 11 kills, 14 digs, 25 assists and six aces, Kambyl Wede recorded 10 kills and four blocks, Audrey Miller had nine kills and two blocks, Nia Talley had eight kills, 24 digs and three assists while Kenna Soulek collected 16 digs, eight assists and four aces in the loss.

Sioux Falls Washington 3, Sioux Falls Jefferson 0

RAPID CITY — Sioux Falls Washington swept Sioux Falls Jefferson during Friday’s Class AA consolation semifinals. The set scores were 25-20, 25-18 and 25-18.

Washington’s Jade Jere had 11 kills, nine digs and four aces, Aubrielle Perry totaled seven kills, Dana Harpe added seven kills, nine digs and two blocks, Jersey Peterson tallied five kills and five blocks, Emily Akkerman had 30 assists, five digs, four aces and two blocks, while Chloe Peterson totaled five kills in the win.

Jefferson’s Sienna Sabers had 10 kills and 12 digs, Olviia Wachal had 21 assists and six digs, Addison Warnke tallied six kills and two blocks while Ayleah Johnson had four kills and four blocks in the loss.
