The weekly Class B girls leaderboard is again dotted with Colman-Egan runners.

The Hawks, who won last year’s Class B state championship, have a number of competitors in this week’s top-10 leaderboard as the prestigious Howard Wood Dakota Relays looms this weekend in Sioux Falls.

Colman-Egan’s Daniela Lee has the top Class B 200-meter time (:25.66) and the second-best 100-meter dash time (:12.26). Reese Luze leads the 800-meter field (2:20.84) and has the second-best 400 (1:01.83). Mackenzie Hemmer holds the best 100-meter hurdles time (:15.85) and the sixth-best 300-meter hurdles (:50.21). She’s also got the best triple jump (36-0) and fifth-best long jump (16-5).

The Hawks also have the best times in the 400 and 800-meter relays, while they have the second-best time in the 1,600-meter relay. 

Also of note this week, Chester Area bolted to the top of the leaderboard in the 3,200 meter and sprint medley relays. The Flyers improved their 3,200-meter relay time by 21 seconds and their sprint medley time by 19 seconds. 

Ipswich also made a strong appearance in the pole vault ranking, with five girls making their season debut in the top-10 standings.
