Aberdeen Christian 60, Wall 56

WATERTOWN — Aberdeen Christian held off Wall for a consolation semifinal win in the Class B tournament on Friday.

The Knights were led by Mallory Miller with 24 points and six rebounds. Joy Rohrbach scored 16 points, while Grace Kaiser added 12 points. Hanna Miller grabbed six rebounds.

Aberdeen Christian will play Aberdeen Roncalli in the consolation championship on Saturday.

Wall was led by Paige Kjerstad with 16 points and five rebounds, while Ava Dinger scored 11 points and nine rebounds. Nora Dinger tallied 10 points, while Aleis Stephan recorded nine points. April Schulz added six points and six rebounds.

The Eagles will play White River in the seventh place game on Saturday.

 

De Smet 52, Faith 50 (2OT)

WATERTOWN — De Smet held off Faith in a double-overtime thriller in the Class B semifinals on Friday to claim a spot in the Class B championship game on Saturday.

De Smet was led by Kennadi Buchholz with 22 points and 21 rebounds. Jada Burke finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, while Emma Albrecht added nine points and nine rebounds.

De Smet will play Viborg-Hurley in the Class B championship game on Saturday.

Kaycee Groves, who hit shots to send the game into overtime and double-overtime, led the Longhorns with a game-high 31 points and eight rebounds. TyAnn Mortenson scored 10 points, while Cassidy Schuelke added seven points and nine rebounds. Shada Selby grabbed nine rebounds.

Faith will play Corsica-Stickney in the third place game on Saturday. 


Viborg-Hurley 43, Corsica-Stickney 38

WATERTOWN — Viborg-Hurley held off Corsica-Stickney to pull off another upset in the Class B semifinals on Friday.

Coral Mason led the Cougars with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Denae Mach recorded 10 points. Delana Mach tallied nine points, while Estelle Lee added eight points and 11 rebounds.

Viborg-Hurley will play De Smet in the Class B championship on Saturday.

Corsica-Stickney was led by Avery Broughton with 14 points and seven rebounds. Rachel Gerlach scored 12 points and six rebounds, while Morgan Clites added eight points. Payton DeLange grabbed nine rebounds.

The Jaguars will play Faith in the third place game on Saturday.


Aberdeen Roncalli 59, White River 44

WATERTOWN — Aberdeen Roncalli built a 29-11 halftime lead to pull away from White River in a Class B consolation semifinal on Friday.

Morgan Fiedler led the Cavaliers with 18 points and five rebounds, while Olivia Hanson scored 17 points and six rebounds. Madelyn Bragg added 16 points and five rebounds.

Aberdeen Roncalli will play Aberdeen Christian in the consolation championship on Saturday.

White River was led by Maleighya Estes with 25 points and eight rebounds. Kamaria Krogman scored six points and Kelsey Morrison added five points. Rhea Tucker grabbed seven rebounds.

White River will play Wall in the seventh place game on Saturday.
