FORT PIERRE — Burke outlasted Herreid/Selby in a five-set Class B SoDak 16 volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-18, 12-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13. 

Parkston 3, Ipswich 0

HURON — Parkston swept Ipswich in Class B SoDak 16 volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-16 and 25-21.

Parkston stats were not reported. 

Ipswich’s Marley Guthmiller finished with 13 kills and two blocks. Natalie Crissman totaled nine kills and two aces. Jalyssa Hutson added four kills. Karlie Weisser added five blocks. Josie Knutson had 23 assists and seven digs. Brianna Geditz added 19 digs. Ava Davis recorded two aces. 

Northwestern 3, Castlewood 0 

REDFIELD — Northwestern swept Castlewood in Class B SoDak 16 volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-15 and 25-21.

Northwestern’s Ashley Haven finished with 18 kills and four blocks. Taylor Vetter totaled seven kills and four blocks. Lila Johnson recorded six kills, 11 digs and two assists. Brenna Halvorson totaled two aces. Ella Boekelheide had 34 assists, 12 digs and one ace. Tara Blachford added 11 digs and one ace.

Castlewood stats were not reported.
