WATERTOWN — Class A’s top two teams took one-step closer to meeting up in Saturday’s championship game.

No. 1 seed St. Thomas More advanced with a 66-29 win over No. 8 seed McCook Central/Montrose. The Cavaliers will play No. 4 seed Aberdeen Roncalli after its 45-34 win over Sioux Falls Christian.

Meanwhile No. 2 seed Winner defeated No. 7 seed Dakota Valley 59-48. The Warriors will play No. 3 Hamlin after the Chargers beat the sixth seed Belle Fourche 53-36.
