CUSTER — Behind individual champions Tyler Trant (120) and Trey Weiss (138), the Custer boys won Friday’s Bill Young Invitational wrestling tournament. 

The Wildcats racked up 192.5 points, ahead of Sturgis JV (187) and Belle Fourche (183). Douglas/Rapid City Christian/New Underwood (157) and Hot Springs (120) rounded out the top five teams. 

Belle Fourche had a strong tournament with four individual champions, Cooper Conry (113), Riley Dighton (150) Spencer Bush (175) and Lucas Tonsanger (285) all winning on Thursday. 

While Lakota Tech finished tenth in the team competition, Tatanka had two individual champions in Zaniyan Iron Eyes (144) and Kolt Fox (215).

Hot Springs had two champions as Thor Fish (165) and Hunter Kunkz (190) each won championships. 

Other titles were claimed by Tommy Studt (106) of Douglas/Rapid City Christian/New Underwood), Revyn Floyd (126) Harding County, Drew Janke (132) Lead-Deadwood and Gavin Werlinger (157) of the Sturgis JV each won on Thursday.
