Sioux Valley 62, Sisseton 44

VOLGA — Kailey Cradduck and Liberty Trygstad powered Class A No. 5 Sioux Valley to a Thursday girls basketball win.

Cradduck finished with 24 points, eight rebounds, four 3-pointers and four steals. Trygstad added 13 points, four assists and three 3-pointers. Talya Vincent had nine points on three 3-pointers. Amari Ward had eight points and five boards. Miley Keating scored six points. Skylar Knutson collected seven rebounds.

For Sisseton, Elliot Hortness totaled 15 points and five rebounds. Fallon Hawkins recorded eight points, three assists and three steals. Piper Langager had seven points. Saylor Langager totaled 13 rebounds and four points. Maylee Bravebull added five points and three rebounds. 


Brandon Valley 63, O’Gorman 54

SIOUX FALLS — Class AA No. 2 Brandon Valley snapped Class AA No. 1 O’Gorman’s 50-game girls basketball winning streak on Thursday.

Brandon Valley’s Alyvia Padgett powered the Lynx with a 40-point performance. 


Flandreau 42, Chester 38

CHESTER — Class A No. 10 Flandreau clipped Chester in Thursday girls basketball action.

Flandreau’s Morgan Sheppard finished with 17 points and seven rebounds. Rheagan Sheppard added 11 points and 10 boards. 

For Chester, Jacy Wolf had 14 points and nine rebounds. Kaitlyn Schut recorded 12 points. Emmerson Eppard added five points and nine rebounds. Alyssa Schut posted seven rebounds. 


Faulkton Area 41, Hitchcock-Tulare 39

FAULKTON — Anika Mueller’s double-double paced Faulkton Area to a Thursday girls basketball win.

Mueller totaled 18 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. Brooklyn Mueller added eight points and six rebounds. Presleigh Martinmaas had seven points, eight rebounds and five assists. Raegan Geditz totaled six points.

For Hitchcock-Tulare, Cambree Hoekman tallied 12 points, six steals and five rebounds. Emmerie Arthurs recorded nine points and seven steals. Gracyn Bixler had nine points and seven rebounds. Regan Lutter had seven points and eight rebounds. 


Northwestern 56, Wilmot 24

MELLETTE — Ashley Haven powered Northwestern to a Thursday girls basketball win over Wilmot. 

Haven finished with a game-high 23 points, while Breelyn Satter added 15 points. Kyara Ratigan scored eight points. 

For Wilmot, Jada Cameron scored seven points. Harper Harstad scored six points. 


Iroquois/Lake Preston 58, Oldham/Ramona/Rutland 33

IROQUOIS — Hadlee Holt and Bentlee Holt combined for 26 points to pace Iroquois/Lake Preston to a Thursday girls basketball win.

Hadlee finished with 14 points and Bentlee Holt added 12 points. Khloe Olson added six points.

For ORR, Kenlee Henjum posted nine points and Brooklyn Hyland added seven points. Logyn Reagle had six points.
