Viborg-Hurley 58, Pine Ridge 49

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 3 Viborg-Hurley to a boys basketball win at Monday’s Hoop City Classic.

VH’s Brady Schroedermeier finished with 16 points, eight rebounds and four rebounds. Jake Austin had 14 points, while Braydyn Morrison totaled 12 points, four rebounds and three steals. Nolan Kolthoff posted nine points. 

For Pine Ridge, Marvin Richard III totaled 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Talton Hawk added nine points and seven rebounds. Caleb Black Feather and Zaedyn Winters scored five points apiece.

Timber Lake 60, Ethan 47

MITCHELL — Kanton Hunt and Pete Maher combined for 29 points to pace Timber Lake to a boys basketball win at Monday’s Hoop City Classic.

Hunt finished with 16 points, while Maher added 13 points and four rebounds. Jackson Bigger totaled seven points and 12 rebounds. Treyden Beer posted six points. Rance Martin added eight points and five rebounds. 

For Ethan, Jaxx Kurtenbach finished with 13 points and four rebounds. Creighton Klumb recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds. Davin Hohn had eight points and five assists. 

Parkston 38, Dupree 30

MITCHELL — Brycen Bruening powered Parkston to a boys basketball win at Monday’s Hoop City Classic. 

Bruening finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Mason Jervik added 10 points and four rebounds. 

Dupree’s Jayden Marshall recorded 13 points, seven rebounds and three 3-pointers. Dayson Kennedy totaled eight points and four rebounds. Cruz Birkeland posted six rebounds and four points. 

Mount Vernon/Plankinton 67, Lower Brule 41

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Mount Vernon/Plankinton to a boys basketball win at Monday’s Hoop City Classic. 

MVP’s Tyce Feistner finished with 29 points, four rebounds and four assists. Mason Karst added 15 points, three steals and five rebounds. Tristen Eide added 11 points. Camden Stahl totaled six points and six rebounds. 

For Lower Brule, Kristian Antelope totaled 18 points and eight rebounds. Ben Middletent had 12 points and three rebounds. Bradley LaForge finished with six points. 

McCook Central/Montrose 58, White River 49 

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to pace McCook Central/Montrose to a boys basketball win at Monday’s Hoop City Classic. 

MCM’s Zane McCormick finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Owen Schmidt finished with 14 points and five rebounds. Dawson Dorr posted 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Ben Wiebersick and Andrew Sabers scored five points apiece. 

For White River, Bryson One Star finished with 11 points and three rebounds. Zaysyn Whipple, Colton Waln and Jaxon Krogman scored nine points apiece. Kreg Stoddard added five points. 

Zephryills Christian Academy (Fla.) 73, Jonesboro (Ga.) 63

MITCHELL — Toni Bryant powered Zephryills Christian Academy to a boys basketball win at Monday’s Hoop City Classic. 

Bryant, a 6-foot-10 forward committed to Missouri, finished with 28 points and 15 rebounds. Yale Davis added 21 points and seven assists.

For Jonesboro, Calvin Goss totaled 28 points, five rebounds and five 3-pointers.
