Bridgewater-Emery 62, Timber Lake 48

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Bridgewater-Emery to a boys basketball win at Tuesday’s Hoop City Classic. 

BE’s Holden Wollmann finished with 25 points, four rebounds and three 3-pointers. Ben Weber totaled 12 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. Peyton Roskens had 10 points and six rebounds. 

For Timber Lake, Treyden Beer finished with 10 points. Broc Bauer and Kanton Hunt scored eight points apiece. Jackson Bigger finished with seven points, while Braden Lawrence and Pete Maher scored five points apiece. Lawrence had eight rebounds. 

 

Sioux Falls Christian 66, Huron 61

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 1 Sioux Falls Christian to a boys basketball win over Class AA No. 2 Huron at Tuesday’s Hoop City Classic. 

Brant Wassenaar finished with 24 points and eight rebounds. Cooper Goodbary and Ryan Dieleman recorded 12 points apiece. Canyon Prins totaled nine points and five rebounds. Cooper Strande had seven points.

For Huron, Blake Ellwein finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Davis Chase recorded 13 points and three rebounds. Carter Porisch had 11 points, while Anderson Porisch had nine points. Myles Ellwein finished with eight points. 

West Central 87, Pine Ridge 42

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class A No. 2 West Central to a boys basketball win at Tuesday’s Hoop City Classic. 

Will Kuhl led the Trojans with 26 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three 3-pointers. Connor Mebius tallied 21 points, six assists, three steals and three 3-pointers. Carter Gross finished with 10 points. Hayden Heier recorded eight points and four rebounds. Boche Knight and Kolte Garry scored six points apiece.

For Pine Ridge, Marvin Richard III totaled 19 points, five rebounds and four steals. Donnie Ghostdog recorded six points, while Caleb Black Feather and Talton Hawk scored five points apiece. 


Zephyrhills Christian Academy (Florida) 68, Brandon Valley 62

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to power Zephyrhills Christian Academy to a boys basketball win at Tuesday’s Hoop City Classic. 

Adarion Willis finished with 21 points, five rebounds and four 3-pointers. Yale Davis totaled 18 points, eight assists and five steals. Alex Davis added 11 points and six rebounds.

For BV, Lincoln McInerney finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, five 3-pointers and four assists. Austin Dowd recorded 16 points and five rebounds. Ayuel Deng had 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Briggs Knutson had eight points. 


White River 70, Gregory 53

MITCHELL — Three players scored in double figures to lead White River to a boys basketball win at Tuesday’s Hoop City Classic.

Colton Waln led the Tigers with 17 points and eight rebounds. Zaysyn Whipple totaled 14 points, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. Maddox Marshall added 12 points, seven rebounds and three 3-pointers. Jaxon Krogman had nine points, while Bryson One Star and Mehki Krogman scored six points apiece. 

For Gregory, Colt Keiser finished with 27 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Lincoln Juracek added 21 points, four rebounds, four 3-pointers and three assists.
