Northwestern 62, Britton-Hecla 59

BRITTON — Northwestern clipped Britton-Hecla in boys basketball action on Monday.

Northwestern’s Nathan Melius logged 23 points, while Lincoln Woodring posted 18 points. Jack Hansen had six points.

For Britton-Hecla, Jaxon Zuehlke scored 19 points. Ty Fagerland had 13 points and Jordyn McGregor scored 11 points. Daniel Person had 10 points. 


Colman-Egan 85, Flandreau Indian 46

COLMAN — Three players scored in double figures to pace Colman-Egan to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Jack Mousel logged 26 points and six rebounds for the Hawks. Jase Mousel and Jackson Zwart scored 15 points apiece. Jase Mousel had five points and five assists, while Zwart added six assists and four rebounds. Carson Voelker finished with eight points and eight rebounds. Christopher Lee posted six points and five rebounds. Tyce Ryan scored five points.

For Flandreau Indian, Elijah Chief Eagle logged 16 points, four rebounds, four 3-pointers and three assists. Genio White Hawk had 12 points, seven rebounds and three 3-pointers. Ryan Papakee had nine points, three rebounds and three 3-pointers. 


Freeman 59, Kimball/White Lake 53

WHITE LAKE — Freeman held off Kimball/White Lake for a boys basketball win on Monday.

Tate Sorensen logged 15 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Luke Miller added 11 points. Rocky Ammann and Luke Peters scored nine points apiece. 

For KWL, Blake Leiferman had 18 points and 16 rebounds. Park Sinclair had seven points, while Nathan Mohnen had six points. Hudson Heath had five rebounds. 


Tea Area 58, Tri-Valley 36

TEA — Sam Almas and Jessen Wiebenga combined for 34 points and 15 rebounds to pace Tea Area to a boys basketball win on Monday.

Almas finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three 3-pointers. Wiebenga had 12 points and five boards. Boston Willemssen had seven points, while Keeton Newborg scored six points. Garrett Wiebenga added five points. 

For Tri-Valley, Tristen Bunde had 12 points. Logan Ellison and Brady Jewett scored six points apiece. Trey Johnson had five points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots and three assists.
