SIOUX FALLS — Ryland Carroll drove in three runs as the Lynx advanced to the Class A state championship Saturday.

Carroll batted 2-for-3 with a double, walk and three RBIs, Aiden Zerr drove in two runs on two hits, including a triple, Nolan Pudwill added two RBIs on one hit, while Brayden Knutson collected three hits in the win. Carroll took the victory on the mound allowing two runs on six hits and a walk in a complete game outing, striking out six.

For Lincoln, Kasen Christiansen took the loss allowing five runs on three hits and a walk in 1.2 innings, striking out two. Dietrich Haan drove in a run on a walk while five other Patriots tallied hits in the loss.
