Rapid City Christian 60, Lakota Tech 43

RAPID CITY —  Three players scored in double figures as Rapid City Christian defeated Lakota Tech Friday.

Sadie Marshall led the Comets with 15 points, five rebounds and three steals, Lydia Williams had 15 points and seven rebounds, Nora Kieffer tallied 11 points and seven rebounds, Abby Thomson totaled six points and three rebounds while Nia Selfridge added five points and three rebounds in the loss.

LT’s Angeliyah Big Boy had 10 points and six rebounds, Lizzie Robinson totaled 10 points and four steals, Isabella Changreaux tallied seven points and seven rebounds, while Peyton Knife had six points in the loss.


Mahpiya Luta 59, Wall 33

RAPID CITY — Three players scored in double figures as Mahpiya Luta took down Wall Friday at the LNI.

Jodene Big Crow-Hunter led with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and five steals, Mya Mills had 14 points, five rebounds and a steal, Ashlan Carlow-Blount totaled 12 points, six rebounds and three steals, while Abigail Haas had five points in the win.

Wall’s Faith Frink led with 12 points and eight rebounds, Allie Kjerstad tallied nine points and two rebounds, while Brittney Walker added four points and five rebounds.


Omaha Nation (Neb.) 46, Custer 41 (OT)

RAPID CITY — Omaha Nation outlasted Custer in overtime during Friday’s LNI action.

Mikkel Parker tallied 17 points, 13 rebounds and two steals for ON, Dailene Walker also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, adding three blocks and two steals, Desma Walker totaled eight points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks, Taylece McCauley had five points, five rebounds and six steals, while Katie Parker brought in five rebounds in the win.

Custer’s Jordyn Larsen finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals, Kylee Ellerton had 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals, Maya Tennyson tallied 10 points and eight rebounds, while Jayda Bennett added four points, four rebounds and six steals in the loss.


Todd County 42, Dupree 34

RAPID CITY — Todd County defeated Dupree during Friday’s LNI action.

Trinity Bettelyoun led the Falcons with 11 points and four rebounds, Bree White Hat tallied seven points, while Grabrielle Kenny and Tashay LeRoy each added five points and four rebounds, combining for seven steals in the win.

Dupree’s Charly Etzkorn led the Tigers with 10 points, Jaysie Starr tallied eight points, six rebounds and two steals, while Minda Woodward scored seven points, nine rebounds and five steals in the loss.


White River 64, McLaughlin 18

RAPID CITY — Maleena Brave’s double-double lifted White River over McLaughlin Friday at the Lakota Nation Invitational.

Brave tallied 11 points and 13 rebounds, Page Wright had 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals, Skyler Krogman added 13 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and a steal, while Leah Carr had 10 points, six rebounds and five steals in the win.

McLaughlin’s Mari Richards totaled 13 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks, while Sandee Steele had three points and three rebounds in the loss.


St. Francis 62, Oelrichs 23

RAPID CITY — Lesleen Makes Room For Them’s 18-point burst lifted St. Francis past Oelrichs Friday.

Makes Room For Them finished with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, Cali O’Rourke had 10 points, five boards and two steals, Angelique Romero totaled seven points, four rebounds and three steals, while Adrienne White Lance had six points, five steals and three rebounds in the win.

Oelrichs’ Isabelle Her Many Horses tallied 12 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and two blocks, Mylieh Blacksmith added six points and four rebounds, while Kate Her Many Horses totaled five points and five rebounds in the loss.


Little Wound 47, Marty 45

RAPID CITY — Tahca Zephier’s 18-point performance helped Little Wound defeat Marty during Friday’s LNI action.

Zephier finished with 18 points, four rebounds, two steals and a block, Alyssa Brewer had 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, Summer Marshall added five points and eight rebounds, while Briley Ferguson and Deandra Iron Cloud each had four points in the win.

Marty’s Zoe Waln finished with a double-double of 19 points, 11 rebounds, eight steals and three assists, Promise Holiday added eight points and six boards, Alayah Rouse had four points, eight rebounds, a steal and a block, while Gabby Zephier tallied six points and four rebounds in the loss.


Tiospa Zina 43, Wakpala 37

RAPID CITY — Tiospa Zina outlasted Wakpala during Friday’s Lakota Nation Invitational action.

Caden Smith led with 15 points, three rebounds and four steals, May Deutsch had 12 points, five rebounds and three steals, while Latice Rodlund and Journee Haley each had seven points in the win.

Wakpala’s Tylene Hawk Bear had 21 points, 15 rebounds and six steals while  Jayla Plenty Chief added 16 points and nine rebounds in the loss.


Pine Ridge 71, Santee (Neb.) 53

RAPID CITY — Tina Sierra’s 25-point burst lifted Pine Ridge over Santee during Friday’s LNI action.

Sierra totaled 25 points and two rebounds, Mia Long Visitor tallied 17 points, three rebounds and 10 steals, Diana Long Visitor added 10 points, nine rebounds, six steals and three assists, while Melina Lakota tallied eight points and four rebounds in the win.

Santee’s Miley Pike tallied 20 points, eight rebounds and three steals, Talia Saunsoci had 12 points, 15 rebounds and three steals, Aubrinee Tuttle totaled 10 points, eight rebounds and five steals, while Shelby Johnson had five points, seven rebounds and six steals in the loss.


Crow Creek 54, Lower Brule 44

RAPID CITY — Allison Wells’ 16-point performance powered Crow Creek past Lower Brule Friday.

Wells finished with 16 points and three rebounds, Laila Marshall had 10 points and 16 rebounds, Mary Dion had nine points and eight rebounds, while Delilah Traversie added nine points and six rebounds in the win.

LB’s Brilyn LaRoche tallied 16 points and seven rebounds, Lael Middletent had 13 points and nine rebounds, Tallie Long Turkey totaled eight points, while Florence Charger recorded seven points and four rebounds in the loss.


Tiospaye Topa 78, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 50

RAPID CITY — Pamela Meeter’s 25-point game lifted Tiospaye Topa past Cheyenne-Eagle Butte during Friday’s LNI action.

Meeter finished with 25 points and six steals, Tyrianna Hawk Bear had 17 points and nine rebounds, Cadence Berine totaled 17 points and six rebounds, while Leilani Bowker added 14 points, seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals in the win.

Dakotta Longbrake had 20 points and five steals, Suni Bowman added 17 points and four rebounds, while Angel Benson tallied five points in the loss.
