Lyman 51, Bennett County 49

PRESHO — Three players finished in double figures as Class B No. 5 Lyman defeated Bennett County during Saturday’s high school girls basketball action.

Mak Scott led the way with 17 points, eight rebounds and six steals, Brooke Palmer had 13 points, five rebounds and six steals, Jordyn Scott totaled 12 points and three steals, while Kenzie Wagner had four points in the win.

BC’s stats were not reported.


Hamlin 59, Colman-Egan 43

COLMAN — Class A No. 3 Hamlin pulled away from Colman-Egan for a Saturday high school girls basketball win. 

Hamlin’s Addie Steffensen finished with 23 points. Addie Neuendorf added 12 points. Jo Steffensen recorded seven points. Addie Jensen scored six points. Payton Neuendorf scored six points. 

For Colman-Egan, 

Brynlee Landis scored 10 points. Kayla Voelker finished with eight points. Presley Luze scored six points. Addy Geigle scored five points.


Wagner 47, Lennox 39

WAGNER — Ashlyn Koupal’s double-double helped Class A No. 4 Wagner beat Lennox Saturday in high school girls basketball action.

Koupal finished with 10 points, 22 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals in the win, Hayden Knudsen totaled 12 points, Ravyn Medricky had nine points and five rebounds, Lydia Yost added nine points, while Braxton Nedved collected six points in the win.

Lennox’s Andie Peters had 11 points, Bergan Musser and Tori Gerdes each scored 10 points, while Karlie Bosma tallied four points in the loss.


Wessington Springs 48, Howard 37

HOWARD — Three players scored in double-figures as Wessington Springs defeated Howard Saturday.

Kerstynn Heim had 16 points, while Addy Orth and Kenzie Kolousek each had 11 points in the win.

Howard’s Ann Connor tallied 19 points while Tana Hoyer collected five points in the loss.


Aberdeen Roncalli 53, Northwestern 40

ABERDEEN — Ava Hanson’s 18-point game helped Aberdeen Roncallid defeat Northwestern Saturday.

Hanson totaled 18 points, six rebounds and three steals, Maddie Huber had 10 points and three rebounds, Claire Crawford added eight points and three steals, while McKenna O’Keefe tallied seven points in the win.

Northwestern’s Adriana Ratigan collected 20 points and six rebounds in the loss, Ashley Haven tallied eight points and three rebounds, while Breelyn Sattler collected four points in the loss.


Sioux Valley 61, Arlington 47

COLMAN — Talya Vincent and Keyra Kruse each had 16 points as Sioux Valley defeated Arlington Saturday.

Vincent totaled 16 points and four assists, Kruse added 16 points and six rebounds, Amari Ward tallied 11 points, four rebounds, four steals and four assists, Kailey Cradduck collected nine points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Liberty Trygstad had nine points, three assists and three steals in the win.

Arlington’s Jaelyn Huntimer totaled 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Emma Spilde had 10 points and four rebounds, while Ellisyn Vincent and Sony Johnson each had four points in the loss.


Webster Area 52, Ipswich 47

IPSWICH — Webster Area’s Erin Sannes put up 22 points in the Bearcats victory over Ipswich Saturday.

Sannes finished with 22 points, six rebounds and three assists, Mallory Steiner tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds, Harley Johnson totaled nine points, while Bailee Ninke had six points in the win.

Ipswich’s Gabby Wald tallied 20 points, Marley Guthmiller had 10 points and six rebounds, while Bri Geditz added eight points in the loss.


Mobridge-Pollock 58, Herreid-Selby Area 27

MOBRIDGE —  Blake Thompson scored 19 points as Mobridge-Pollock defeated Herreid-Selby Area Saturday.

Thompson had 19 points, Charley Henderson totaled 16 points, Faith Heil had six points, while Tegan Konold and Brooke Bain each had four points for the Tigers.

HSA’s Katie Albee tallied 10 points, Jordyn Rossow had six points, while Jessie Johnson totaled four points in the loss.


Chester 44, Castlewood 29

COLMAN — Jacy Wolf and Emmerson Eppard combined for 35 points as Chester took down Castlewood Saturday in high school girls basketball action.

Wolf totaled 17 points and four rebounds, Eppard had 18 points and nine rebounds, while Gracie Mersch totaled four points and three rebounds in the win.

Sophia Kudrna led the Warriors with seven points and three rebounds, Cassidy Kirwan tallied five points, while Ava Ruml totaled four points in the loss.


Mitchell 50, Rapid City Central 30

RAPID CITY — Addie Siemsen and Carsyn Weich combined for 26 points as Mitchell picked up a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Siemsen finished with 15 points and three 3-pointers. Weich added 11 points. Londyn Hajek and Matteah Graves scored six points apiece. 

For Rapid City Central, Leah Landry finished with 20 points. Jo Pierce scored six points.
