Hanson 59, Ethan 56

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson outlasted Class B No. 2 Ethan for a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Hanson’s Alyssa Moschell recorded 17 points and eight boards. Taziah Hawkins added 12 points and Eliza Oltmanns scored 11 points. Kylie Haiar had 10 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals. 

For Ethan, Marissa Storm scored a game-high 25 points and had seven steals. Ava Lingemann recorded 14 points and eight assists. Rachel Klock had five rebounds. 


Hitchcock-Tulare 53, Ipswich 40

TULARE — Hitchcock-Tulare picked up a girls basketball win over Ipswich on Saturday.

HT’s Katelyn Schroeder logged 20 points, while Cambree Hoekman had 16 points. Gracyn Bixler, Rebecca Huizenga and Emmerie Arthurs scored five points apiece. 

Ipswich’s Gabby Wald had 16 points and Kaylin Onken scored nine points. Marley Guthmiller and Tristan Geditz had six and five points, respectively. 


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 64, Sunshine Bible Academy 14

MILLER — Liz Boschee and Kennadie Ochsner combined to score 39 points to pace Sanborn Central/Woonsocket to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Boschee finished with 24 points and seven steals. Ochsner added 15 points and four steals. Mackenzie Schley had seven points, three assists and three steals. Kali Hofer had five points. Kamryn Ochsner scored five points. 

For SBA, Betra Amare scored three points. 


Rapid City Christian 62, Douglas 31

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Christian used a balanced scoring attack to pick up a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Lydia Williams finished with 11 points and Hayden Thorton had 10 points. Jersey Von Eye and Miley Johnson scored eight points apiece. Nora Kieffer had seven points and Sadie Marshall had five points. 


Andes Central/Dakota Christian 44, Platte-Geddes 29 

PLATTE — Andes Central/Dakota Christian downed Platte-Geddes for a girls basketball win on Saturday.

ACDC’s Mahpiya Irving finished with 15 points, six assists and three steals. Halle Olson had 10 points and nine rebounds. Josie Brouwer logged nine points and seven rebounds.

For PG, Karly VanDerWerff had 14 points and eight rebounds. Taylor Schrank had six points, while Hadley Hanson had five points. Kori VanDerWerff and Cadence VanZee had seven rebounds apiece. Kori VanDerWerff had six assists. 


Garretson 59, Chester 55 

CHESTER — Garretson outscored Chester 16-8 in the fourth quarter to secure a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Garretson’s Kylie Christensen finished with 15 points and Sydney Olson added 12 points. Adi Fink collected 14 boards and Jordyn Williams had four assists. 

For Chester, Jacy Wolf had 19 points, five assists and three steals. Katelyn Schut had 19 points, while Emmerson Eppard added 11 points and 15 rebounds. Wolf and Schut had seven rebounds apiece. 


Elk Point-Jefferson 69, Madison 45

ELK POINT — Four players scored in double figures to pace Elk Point-Jefferson to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

EPJ’s Bentlee Kollbaum recorded 19 points, four rebounds and four assists. Ashley Brewer had 14 points, while Cera Schmitz added 12 points, five steals and four assists. Kaitlyn VanRoekle had 11 points and five boards. Grace Peed posted six points.

For Madison, Audrey Nelson recorded 24 points. Karley Lurz had six points and Taneaja John scored five points. 


Lennox 52, Milbank 39

MILBANK — Lennox used a 16-0 second quarter to put away Milbank in girls basketball action on Saturday.

Lennox’s Carli Kuyper logged 14 points and six rebounds. Dani Highum had 12 points and seven boards. Andie Peters posted nine points. Ryan Hanssen and Ashlee Sweeter scored five points apiece. 

For Milbank, Tyra Berry and Claire Snaza had 12 points apiece. Siera Wenzl scored nine points.
