DELL RAPIDS — Dell Rapids’ junior Madelynn Henry announced her verbal commitment to the University of Oregon on Instagram Wednesday.

The two-time all-state selection tallied 478 kills at a .340 clip with 184 digs, 51 aces and 34 total blocks as a sophomore for the Class A state champion Quarriers.

Henry, a 6-foot outside hitter, has piled up 1,537 kills, 833 digs, 203 aces, 79 total blocks and 60 assists in four years on the Dell Rapids volleyball team.

Henry’s brothers — Jack (South Dakota State football) and Austin (Missouri baseball) — are also Division I student-athletes.
