MARTIN — Crazy Horse’s Devaughn Between Lodges and Jones County’s BreAna Aske won individual titles at Friday’s Bennett County Invitational held on a hilly Markota Acres Golf Course.

Between Lodges covered the 5,000-meter distance in 21 minutes and :18.51 seconds, finishing just in front of Todd County’s Jace Allen (21:25) and Keegan Richards (22:01). Wall’s Aidan Craven (22:12) and Todd County’s Layf Skatberg of  (22:19) rounded out the top-five runners. 

Aske captured the girls 5,000 meter race in 23:56.55, ahead of Lakota Tech’s Brandy Marshall (25:11) and Todd County’s Shelly Larvie (25:24). New Underwood’s Madilyn Wulf (25:47) and St. Francis Indian’s Adrienne White Lance (25:51) rounded out the top-five athletes. 

Team scores were not kept at Friday’s meet.
