The District 1B amateur baseball tournament starts July 27 in Milbank.

The seven-team tournament continues until Aug. 2 and four teams will qualify for the Class B state amateur baseball tourney, which is Aug. 7-18 in Mitchell. 

Milbank is the No. 1 seed and will play the Elkton vs. Clark winner in the second round on July 28. 

The first-round pairings include: 

No. 7 Ramona vs. No. 2 Lake Norden, 2 p.m., Saturday

No. 6 Volga vs. No. 3 Castlewood, 4:30 p.m., Saturday

No. 5 Elkton vs. No. 4 Clark, 7 p.m., Saturday
