The District 5B amateur baseball tournament is July 20-28 at The Pond in Parkston. 

The eight-team district starts Thursday, with Platte vs. Dimock-Emery at 6 p.m. and Winner/Colome vs. Parkston Devil Rays at 8 p.m.

On Friday, Alexandria plays Corsica-Stickney at 6 p.m. and Mount Vernon plays the Parkston Mudcats at 8 p.m. to round out the first-round games. The action continues over the next two weeks, with the District 5B championship game on Friday, July 28.
