DES Moines, Iowa — Eagle Butte’s CeCe Cowan delivered a monster barrel racing run Sunday at the National Junior High Finals Rodeo. 

Cowan and her horse ran a 15.965 seconds run to win the performance as the next closest time was a 16.008 delivered by Nebraska’s Brilee Buford.

Boys Breakaway: Wyatt Fagerhaug, Wessington Springs, 3.52 seconds, fifth place.

Boys Goat Tying: Pete Maher, McLaughlin, 10.17 seconds second place.

Bull Riding: Coltan Dorrance, Custer, (60), 11th place.

Saddle Bronc: Hunter Hohn, Ethan, (53), fifth place. 

Team Roping: Cooper Conry and Cooper Sampson, Saint Onge and Wall, 13.2, third place.
