ESTELLINE — The Elkton-Lake Benton boys and Deubrook Area girls won team titles at Thursday’s Dakota Valley Conference track and field meet. 

The Elkton-Lake Benton boys recorded 186 points, finishing ahead of Deubrook Area (135.5) and Colman-Egan (102). 

The Deubrook Area girls scored 138 points, ahead of Colman-Egan (130) and Arlington (90).

In boys action, Elkton-Lake Benton’s Blake DeVries won the 300-meter hurdles (:41.14) and finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (:16.53). Elkton-Lake Benton’s Taiton Boersma won the shot put (47-6), placed second in the discus (132-2) and javelin (129-8).   

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Lucas Flemmer won the 100-meter dash (:11.18), the 200-meter dash (:22.73) and the 400-meter dash (:50.81).

Castlewood’s Brody Bass won the 110-meter hurdles (:16.45) and placed third in the 300-meter hurdles (:43.75). 

The Colman-Egan boys won the 400-meter relay (:44.90) and 800-meter relay (1:33.08). 

The Deubrook Area boys won the 3,200-meter relay (9:19.82), the 1,600-meter relay (3:32.01) and sprint medley relay (3:57.10) 

Deubrook Area’s Jace Vomacka won the javelin (139-11) and teammate Jack Mousel won the high jump (6-3). Deubrook Area’s Gavin Landmark won the 800-meter run (2:06.06), ahead of teammate Jaxon Quail (2:06.50). 

Arlington’s Jake Burns won the pole vault (11-7). Elkton-Lake Benton’s Quinten Poindexter won the long jump (21-3.5). Castlewood’s Lane Tvedt won the triple jump (41-9.25).  

Deubrook Area’s Landen Johnson won the 1,600-meter run (4:46.04). Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Camden Tebary won the 3,200-meter run (11:07.43). 

In girls action, Deubrook Area’s Nora Olsen won the 800-meter run (2:26.85) and 1,600-meter run (5:28.37). Deubrook Area’s Akasha Gorecki won the 100-meter hurdles (:16.05), placed fourth in the long jump (15-8) and fourth in the 200-meter dash (:28.62). 

Deubrook Area’s Kylee Johnson won the 400-meter dash (1:01.27). The Deubrook Area girls won the 3,200-meter relay (10:31.84) 

Arlington’s Chloe Raw (:12.30) edged Colman-Egan’s Daniela Lee (:12.91). Raw also won the long jump (16-5.75). 

Lee captured the 200-meter dash in :26.40, ahead of teammate Crystal Silva-Dominguez (:27.54). 

Estelline/Hendricks’ Sadie Johnson won the 300-meter hurdles (:47.48), pole vault (9-4), placed second in the triple jump (32-3.25) and third in the long jump (15-10). 

Arlington’s Kaelyn Ulschmid won the 3,200-meter run (:12.43.38). 

Iroquois/Lake Preston’s Hadlee Holt won the shot put (39-6). Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Maddyn LeBrun won the javelin with a heave of 108-5. Oldham-Ramona-Rutland’s Julia Trygstad won the high jump (5-1.25).

The Colman-Egan girls won the 400-meter relay (:51.90), 800-meter relay (1:49.40), the 1,600-meter relay (4:13.43) and sprint medley relay (4:40.27).
