ARLINGTON — The Elkton-Lake Benton boys and the De Smet girls won team titles at Thursday’s Dakota Valley Conference meet.

The Elkton-Lake Benton boys scored 190.5 points to win the team title, ahead of Dell Rapids St. Mary (153) and Deubrook Area (94). The De Smet girls won with 142 points, just ahead of Dell Rapids St. Mary (138) and Colman-Egan (134).

Dell Rapids St. Mary’s Logan Bauer won the 100-meter dash (:10.89).

De Smet’s Rogan Albrecht won the 200-meter dash (:22.76) and the 400-meter dash (:51.35).

DRSM’s Jacob Flemmer ran a personal best to win the 800-meter run (2:02.97).

Deubrook Area’s Charlie Olsen won the 1,600-meter run (4:37.51).

Castlewood’s Nolan Eidson won the 3,200-meter run (10:43.50).

Castlewood’s Brody Bass won the 110-meter hurdles (:15.03) and the javelin throw (150-03).

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Eliot Erickson ran a personal best to win the 300-meter hurdles (:40.77).

DRSM’s Thomas LaVoy, Lincoln LeBrun, Jake Heinitz and Bauer won the 400-meter relay (:43.89) while LeBrun, Theo Miller, Heinitz and Pano Skliris won the 800-meter relay (1:33.49).

DA’s Olsen, Josh Mitchell, Isaac Gass and Josh Moberg won the 1,600-meter relay (3:33.89). 

DRSM’s Jaxon Baumberger, Kade Lutt, Joe Trumbauer and Jacob Flemmer won the 3,200-meter relay (8:54.24).

Estelline/Hendricks’ Eli Brown, Kade Hauck, Regan Schwartz and Cooper Schaefer won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay (3:50.17).

In the field events, ELB’s Taiton Boersma won the shot put title (54-05) and discus (159-03).

Arlington’s Jake Burns won the pole vault (12-09).

DRSM’s Baumberger won the high jump title (5-11).

ELB’s Colt Beck won the long jump (19-10.25) and triple jump (40-11).

On the girls’ side, Colman-Egan’s Jolie Flatten won the 100-meter dash (:12.19) and the 400-meter dash (:57.35).

CE’s Crystal Silva-Dominguez won the 200-meter dash (:26.62).

Deubrook Area’s Kylee Johnson won the 800-meter run (2:23.48) while teammate Nora Olsen captured the 1,600-meter (5:24.12) and the 3,200-meter run (11:44.94).

Elkton-Lake Benton’s Ivy Jaacks swept the 100-meter hurdles (:15.34) and the 300-meter hurdles (:48.37).

CE’s Avery Baumberger, Michoen Williamson, Brynlee Landis and Crystal Silva-Dominguez won the 400-meter relay (:50.68) while Baumberger, Finley Luze, Landis and Flatten captured the 800-meter relay (1:44.23). Baumberger, Silva-Dominguez, Luze and Landis captured the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay as well (4:21.02).

De Smet’s Adalyn Gross, Aubree Blue, Hazel Luethmers and Gemma Luethmers won the 1,600-meter relay (4:12.54). 

De Smet’s Bella Wilkinson, Kali Dirck, Aubree Blue and Cambria Gross won the 3,200-meter relay (10:25.22).

In the field events, DRSM’s Maddyn LeBrun won the javelin throw (123-01).

Iroquois/Lake Preston’s Hadlee Holt captured the shot put title (41-06.00) and discus (143-10).

Estelline/Hendricks’ Maggie Hausman won the pole vault (9-00).

De Smet’s Luethmers won the high jump (5-05).

DRSM’s Layla Hanson won the long jump (16-07.75).

De Smet’s Gross captured the triple jump (34-04.25).
