SCOTLAND — The Centerville girls and Freeman Academy/Marion boys won Great Plains Conference track and field titles on Tuesday.

The Centerville girls racked up 211 points, ahead of Scotland/Menno (161) and Burke (152). The FAM boys recorded 196 points, ahead of Centerville (153) and Scotland/Menno (123).

In girls action, Centerville’s Emma Marshall powered the team title with first-place finishes in the 100-meter dash (:12.80), 200-meter dash (:25.93), 400-meter dash (:58.08) and long jump (17-4). 

Centerville’s Emery Shubeck claimed first-place finishes in the 100-meter hurdles (:15.64), 300-meter hurdles (:48.11) and pole vault (8-6). The Centerville girls won the 3,200-meter relay (10:27.64). 

Burke’s Sophia Bauld won the 800-meter run (2:28.42), 1,600-meter run (5:29.00) and teammate Kailee Frank won the 3,200-meter run (12:18.71). Burke’s Emily Diekmann won the high jump (5-0). 

Scotland/Menno’s Trinity Bietz was a double winner in the shot put (37-10.25) and discus (105-5). She placed second in the javelin (105-3), behind teammate Kylie Guthmiller (121-3). 

The Burke girls won the 400-meter relay (:52.62) and 800-meter relay (1:49.52). The Corsica-Stickney girls won the 1,600-meter relay (4:18.92) and sprint medley relay (4:35.66). 

In boys action, FAM’s Finley McConniel won the 800-meter run (2:06.31), 1,600-meter run (4:47.09) and 3,200-meter run (11:23.61). 

FAM’s Keaton Preheim won the 100-meter dash (:11.32) and 200-meter dash (:23.13). Domani Butler won the 300-meter hurdles (:43.00). Butler and Preheim were on the winning 400-meter relay (:45.16) and 800-meter relay (1:36.38). Karter Weber won the triple jump (40-9.5). 

Andes Central/Dakota Christian’s AJ Johnson won the shot put (46-9.25) and placed third in the discus (133-10.5). 

Centerville’s Alec Austin won the discus (143-10.5) and teammate Miles Eide won the pole vault (11-0). Aiden Bobzin won the long jump (19-7.75). Eide placed second in the triple jump (40-2) and 300-meter hurdles (:43.63).
