MITCHELL — Ethan’s Rylan Gerlach and Avon’s McKenna Kocmich won individual titles at Wednesday’s Region 4B golf meet at Lakeview Golf Course.

Gerlach shot a 5-over 77, including a 36 on the back nine. He carded two birdies on the back nine. Gerlach edged Hanson’s AJ Wilber (79) for the individual title. 

Gregory’s Luke Stukel (82) and Bon Homme’s Landon Bares (82) tied for third place. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket’s Ethan Schmiedt, Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Trysten Eide and Hanson’s Ben Wilber tied for fourth place. 

Kocmich shot a 90, including a 44 on the front nine. Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Vanessa Hoffman (93) and Platte-Geddes’ Mallory Gant (94) finished second and third, respectively. Andes Central/Dakota Christian’s Abigail Svatos, Burke’s Calli Davis and Scotland/Menno’s Kailin Odens tied for fourth place with 97s. 

Hanson won the boys team title with a 247, while MVP (251) placed second and Bon Homme (253) finished third. 

Platte-Geddes won the girls team title with a 301, finishing ahead of Burke (310) and Scotland/Menno (317).
