CLARK — Flandreau’s Faith Wiese and Tri-State’s Kaleb Foltz won individual titles at Thursday’s Clark-Willow Lake Invitational run on the Clark Municipal Golf Course.

Wiese finished the 5,000-meter course in 19:03, well ahead of Clark/Willow Lake’s Kamryn Nesheim (20:28) and Flandreau’s Diamond Roy (21:34). Flandreau’s Kiley Westberry (21:35) and Clark-Willow Lake’s Hadley Gjerde rounded out the top-five finishers. 

Foltz, the senior for Tri-State, won his 5,000-meter race 17:23, ahead of Madison’s Dylan Gerdes (17:35) and Flandreau’s Brenton Westberry (18:54). Flandreau’s Tanner Reed (19:01) and Clark-Willow Lake’s Cooper Pommer (19:23) rounded out the top-five boys finishers. 

It was a tight battle for the girls team title, with Flandreau winning with five points, ahead of Clark-Willow Lake (9). Madison (25) and Florence-Henry (41) rounded out the top-four scoring teams. 

It was a very tight boys team race Thursday, with Flandreau scoring 11 points, ahead of Madison (11) and Clark-Willow Lake (18). Tri-State (18) and Webster Area (50) rounded out the top-five teams.
