Sioux Valley 50, Castlewood 47

CASTLEWOOD — Sioux Valley outlasted Class B No. 1 Castlewood in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

SV’s Brady Hiltunen finished with 17 points and five 3-pointers. Carter Sapp added 14 points, while Connor Relf had 14 points.

For Castlewood, Kamden Keszler scored nine points. Brody Bass, Leonard Wernke and Tyson Manley scored eight points apiece. Will Aderhold had seven points and seven rebounds. Trevor Everson totaled seven points. 


Platte-Geddes 60, Winner 50

PLATTE — Four players scored in double figures as Platte-Geddes topped Winner in Tuesday boys basketball action.

Platte-Geddes’ Isaac Leader had 19 points and Jameson Leader scored 17 points. Ziggy Duffy finished with 13 points and Jye Bailey recorded 11 points. 

Winner’s Cooper Craven totaled 21 points. Jalen Tideman finished with eight points. Sam Steele added seven points and Camdyn Anderson scored six points. 

 

Stanley County 52, Mobridge-Pollock 46

MOBRIDGE — Class A No. 9 Stanley County clipped Mobridge-Pollock in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Stanley County’s Eddie Duffy finished with 18 points and four 3-pointers. Paxton Deal and Weston Prince scored 11 points apiece. 

For Mobridge-Pollock, Shooter Frederick had 18 points and three 3-pointers. Trueth Crow Ghost had 13 points and Easton Eisemann totaled eight points. Kyson Good Shield scored five points.


Gregory 59, Wagner 50

WAGNER — Colt Keiser’s double-double powered Gregory to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Keiser finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Lincoln Juracek added 15 points. Carter Baumgartner had nine points and eight rebounds.

For Wagner, Ky Arpan scored 21 points and Carlos Galindo totaled 16 points. Jesse Zephier added nine points. 


Freeman 65, Ethan 58

FREEMAN — Three players scored in double figures to pace Class B No. 3 Freeman to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

David Walter finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Tate Sorensen recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds. Luke Miller had 12 points. Tayden Kerrigan recorded nine points and six assists.

For Ethan, Davin Hohn recorded 22 points. Tuff Martin totaled 12 points, while Jaxx Kurtenbach and Jack Bartscher finished with 10 points apiece. 


De Smet 78, Estelline-Hendricks 42

DE SMET — Four players scored in double figures to power Class B No. 2 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Grant Wilkinson led the Bulldogs with 24 points and 25 rebounds. Slayten Wilkinson recorded 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Noah Luethmers had 16 points and four assists. Carter Wilkinson finished with 12 points.

For EH, Cade Hexem totaled 19 points and Drayden Cokens scored 16 points. 


Chester 62, Arlington 57

ARLINGTON — Four players scored in double figures to pace Chester to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Chester’s Carter Vogel finished with 16 points, five rebounds and four 3-pointers. Teegan Hodne added 15 points, five steals and three rebounds. Parker Dingman totaled 13 points and six rebounds. Jaxton Opdahl recorded 11 points and eight rebounds. Zach Moyer finished with five points and four rebounds.

For Arlington, Paxton Rheault finished with 27 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and four 3-pointers. Jake Burns finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Miles Antonen totaled 13 points and six rebounds. 


Hamlin 70, Britton-Hecla 29

HAYTI — Four players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 4 Hamlin to a boys basketball win on Tuesday. The Chargers hit 13 3-pointers in the win. 

Hamlin’s Boden Stevenson finished with 17 points and three 3-pointers. Jackson Wadsworth totaled 14 points and three 3-pointers. Trig Heinrich had 12 points and Aiden Abraham added 11 points. Jack Stormo recorded six points.

For BH, Will Richter scored 13 points and Mitch Burger added five points. 


Miller 51, Faulkton Area 36

MILLER — Will Resel and Isaak Hunter powered Miller to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Resel finished with 22 points, while Hunter added 21 points. 

For Faulkton Area, Korbin Stark recorded 12 points. Weston Senn and Henry Bossly scored eight points apiece. 


Viborg-Hurley 65, Scotland-Menno 24

MENNO — Brady Schroedermeier and Nolan Kolthoff powered Class B No. 4 Viborg-Hurley to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Schroedermeier totaled 29 points and Kolthoff scored 12 points.

For SM, Hunter Yosten finished with seven points and six rebounds. Jarret Andretta had five points and three assists.


Avon 48, Gayville-Volin 24

GAYVILLE — Al’Shamon Gunter’s 16-point double-double powered Avon over Gayville-Volin in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Gunter finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks, Zander Fathke added 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Cale Cooper totaled six points and four rebounds while Dominic Doom had five points, seven rebounds and three assists in the win.

GV’s stats were not reported.


Chamberlain 58, Hanson 44

ALEXANDRIA — Chamberlain picked up a boys basketball win over Hanson on Tuesday. 

For Chamberlain, Miles Thompson finished with 21 points and five rebounds. Traevin Roubideaux totaled 11 points. Riddick Big Eagle had eight points and three assists. Tommy Knippling totaled eight points. 

Cole Dewald finished with 13 points and six assists, while Nate Wilber added 11 points and seven rebounds. Jett Jager had 10 points, while Conner Endorf totaled six points and four rebounds.


Howard 53, Canistota 33

CANISTOTA — Brody Spader recorded 21 points as Howard defeated Canistota in boys basketball action Tuesday.

Spader finished with 21 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals, Owen Feldhaus added nine points, five rebounds and three steals, Caden Schwader collected eight points and three steals, Kolt Becker tallied seven points and nine rebounds while  Chas Shumaker netted six points, four rebounds and three assists in the win.

For Canistota, Dayne Krinke had 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals while Caleb Schroeder added 11 points, four assists and three rebounds in the loss.


Baltic 50, Flandreau 39

FLANDREAU — Dylan Ranestad and Kellen Artz powered Baltic to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Ranestad finished with 19 points and Artz added 10 points.

For Flandreau, Luke Sheppard had 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Bien added 14 points.


Rapid City Central 65, Douglas 30

RAPID CITY — A balanced scoring attack powered Rapid City Central over Douglas in boys basketball Tuesday.

Preston Yellow led the Cobblers with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists, Sean Smith added 10 points, Logan Soderlin tallied nine points and four rebounds, Robert Steele and Weiland Benbo each had seven points while Julius Duran recorded six points in the win.

For Douglas, Joshua Divis had eight points and three rebounds while Logan Amaral added seven points in the loss.
