Rapid City Central 55, Douglas 16

RAPID CITY — Leah Landry’s double-double powered Rapid City Central to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Landry finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Emma Casey recorded 10 points. Chloe Shreve and Colee Kruse scored nine points apiece. MaTayah McCauley scored five points.

For Douglas, Ramzy Johnson scored five points. 


Sioux Valley 73, Castlewood 49

CASTLEWOOD — Three players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 6 Sioux Valley to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

SV’s Liberty Trygstad totaled 21 points and four rebounds. Talya Vincent recorded 18 points, while Kailey Cradduck added 11 points and nine boards. Amari Ward scored eight points, while Masey Top and Miley Keating scored six points apiece. 

For Castlewood, Bryn Schooley scored 12 points. Sophia Kudrna had eight points. Claire Horn, Kendra Nielsen and Kayla Goens scored five points apiece. 


Bennett County 76, Lyman 58

MARTIN — Class B No. 5 Bennett County topped Class B No. 1 Lyman in girls basketball action on Tuesday. 

Bennett County’s Reagan O’Neill finished with 25 points and Peyson O’Neill added 16 points. Maddie Waln scored 12 points and Harley Harris chipped in with six points.

For Lyman, Jordyn Scott scored 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Mak Scott had 14 points, seven assists and four rebounds. Brooke Montgomery scored nine points and Kenzie Wagner added six points. 


Lakota Tech 65, Vermillion 62

VERMILLION — Lakota Tech flipped an 11-point halftime deficit into a three-point girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lakota Tech’s Kate Robinson finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Lizzie Robinson added 13 points and eight rebounds. Isabella Shangreaux had 12 points and six rebounds. Amelia Shangreaux finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Addison Goings scored six points.

For Vermillion, Taylor Reuvers recorded 33 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals

Shelan Hinseth had 15 points and four rebounds. Lexi Hanson scored six points.


Chester 67, Arlington 62

ARLINGTON — Class B No. 7 Chester outlasted Arlington in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

Chester’s Jacy Wolf finished with 28 points, seven rebounds, three 3-pointers and three steals. Emmerson Eppard recorded 21 points, five rebounds and three 3-pointers. Katelyn Schut finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Kaitlyn Hilbelink posted six points and three rebounds.

For Arlington, Jaelyn Huntimer erupted for 41 points, six 3-pointers, four assists and four rebounds. Seeley VanOverbeke had eight points, seven rebounds and six assists. Lauryn Mutziger had five points and three rebounds. 


De Smet 71, Estelline-Hendricks 23

DE SMET — Hazel Luethmers powered De Smet to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Luethmers finished with 23 points, eight steals and seven rebounds. She also broke the De Smet girls basketball record for most career points. 

Audi Currier totaled 15 points and eight rebounds. Harper Anderson added 10 points and four rebounds. Brooke Jennings and Megan Dylla scored eight points apiece. Jennings recorded nine rebounds. 

For EH, Kori Saathoff recorded six points and six rebounds. Cambry Bury and Halle IntVeld had five points apiece. 


Irene-Wakonda 58, Bridgewater-Emery 46

IRENE — Three players scored in double figures to power Irene-Wakonda to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

IW’s Bella Healy finished with 16 points and eight boards. Emily Oien added 14 points, five rebounds and five steals. Julia Sees scored 12 points and grabbed 10 boards.

For BE, Oakley Weber scored 18 points and Tenley Jatczak had nine points. 


Hanson 42, Chamberlain 34

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson defeated Chamberlain in Tuesday girls basketball action.

Hanson’s Ava Doyle finished with 12 points and five steals, while Lacey Easton added 10 points, five rebounds and five assists. 

For Chamberlain, Natalie Nelson scored 12 points and Rory Hickey added seven points.


Miller 40, Faulkton Area 31

MILLER — A balanced scoring attack led Miller to a girls basketball win over Faulkton Area Tuesday.

Kate Lichty led the Rustlers with 10 points and nine rebounds, Gracen Werdel added eight points and five boards, Jolie Palmer recorded eight points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists, Madelyn Saienga added seven points and six rebounds while Paige Werdel collected five points and nine rebounds in the win.

For FA, Presleigh Martinmaas had 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals, Anika Mueller collected 10 points and six rebounds, Reagan Geditz tallied six points while Brooklyn Mueller totaled five points and five rebounds in the loss.


Colman-Egan 60, Iroquois/Lake Preston 38 

LAKE PRESTON — Brynlee Landis and Jolie Flatten powered Class B No. 3 Colman-Egan to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Landis totaled 24 points and Flatten added 15 points.

For ILP, Hadlee Holt had 17 points and 12 rebounds. Bentlee Holt added seven points and 11 boards.


Winner 50, Platte-Geddes 29

PLATTE — Winner pulled away from Platte-Geddes for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Winner’s Kylie Sachtjen finished with 19 points and Lilly Barfuss added 11 points. Payton Sargent scored eight points. 

For Platte-Geddes, Zana Zephier scored 11 points. Kolbi Hoffman added five points. 


Wagner 51, Gregory 16

GREGORY — Ashlyn Koupal’s double-double powered Class A No. 4 Wagner to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Koupal finished with 32 points, 13 rebounds, six blocked shots, five assists and four steals. Braxton Nedved added nine points, four rebounds and three assists. 

For Gregory, Asia VanDerWerff had eight points and five rebounds. ReNae Prokopec scored five points. 


Viborg-Hurley 36, Scotland-Menno 29 

MENNO — Viborg-Hurley held off Scotland-Menno for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

VH’s Tatum Lyons finished with 12 points and Olivia Hanson added 10 points.

For SM, Lexie McNinch totaled 12 points and nine rebounds. Hope Starwalt had 10 points. 


Rapid City Christian 54, Spearfish 38

SPEARFISH — Sadie Marshall and Nora Kieffer combined for 28 points to pace Rapid City Christian to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Marshall totaled 18 points and Kieffer scored 10 points. Nia Selfridge scored eight points, while Brynn Casey had seven points.

Spearfish stats were not reported. 


Hamlin 67, Britton-Hecla 19

HAYTI — Issie Steffensen powered Class A No. 2 Hamlin to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Steffensen tossed in 27 points and hit five 3-pointers. Addie Jensen added 10 points, while Addie Neuendorf had nine points on three 3-pointers. Ava Taschner scored six points and Paxton Neuendorf added five points.

For BH, Chellon Pruitt scored eight points. 


Flandreau 58, Baltic 25

FLANDREAU — Four players scored in double figures to pace Flandreau to a girls basketball win on Tuesday. 

Flandreau’s Hannah Krull finished with 12 points and five rebounds. Tenley LeBrun scored 12 points. Morgan Sheppard added 11 points and seven assists. Rhegan Sheppard totaled 10 points.

For Baltic, Harper Kortmeyer scored eight points.


Lennox 57, Beresford 27

LENNOX — Class A No. 3 Lennox coasted past Beresford for a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Lennox’s Andie Peters finished with 18 points and five 3-pointers. Bergan Musser added 12 points and three rebounds.

For Beresford, Ella Merriman scored 15 points. 


Milbank 61, Madison 46

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures to power Milbank to a girls basketball win on Tuesday.

Milbank’s Belle Pauli totaled 23 points and 13 rebounds. Susie Schuneman added 15 points, six rebounds and three 3-pointers. Anna Neugebauer totaled 10 points and eight rebounds. Ballee Hendricks scored nine points on three 3-pointers. 

For Madison, Madison Rummel and Collins Nielsen scored 13 points apiece. Rummel hit three 3-pointers. Grace Feige added 12 points on four 3-pointers.
