Wagner 79, Platte-Geddes 66

WAGNER — Three players scored in double figures to lift Wagner to a boys basketball win over Platte-Geddes on Friday. 

Ky Arpan and Carlos Galindo totaled 24 points apiece. Wagner’s Jesse Zephier scored 19 points and Michael Koupal added seven points. 

For Platte-Geddes, Isaac Leader totaled 28 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three assists. Jameson Leader recorded 15 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Jye Bailey finished with 12 points and Ziggy Duffy scored nine points on three 3-pointers. 


Gregory 53, Bon Homme 50 

GREGORY — Colt Keiser’s double-double paced Gregory to a boys basketball win over Bon Homme on Friday.

Keiser totaled 21 points and 20 rebounds. Jacob Klein scored 21 points, while Lincoln Juracek added 16 points.

For Bon Homme, Madden Merkwan scored 15 points and Ethan Wagner added 13 points. 


Mobridge-Pollock 40, Winner 31

MOBRIDGE — Easton Eisemann and Shooter Frederick combined for 26 points to pace Mobridge-Pollock to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Eisemann finished with 16 points and Frederick added 10 points. Kyson Good Shield recorded nine points and Kale Knudson added five points.

For Winner, Zac Olson scored 13 points and Sam Steele recorded 10 points. Jalen Tideman scored six points. 


Castlewood 60, Estelline-Hendricks 46

ESTELLINE — Class B No. 1 Castlewood claimed the Dakota Valley Conference boys basketball title on Friday. 

Castlewood’s Kamden Keszler totaled 22 points and hit four 3-pointers. Trevor Everson added 15 points and Tyson Manley scored 10 points. Will Aderhold had eight points and six boards. Leonard Wernke scored five points. Brody Bass had six rebounds. 

For EH, Cade Hexem finished with 17 points and three 3-pointers. Drayden Cokens scored 11 points and three 3-pointers. Kameron Hauck had nine points and Kade Hauck added five points. 


Flandreau 59, Elkton-Lake Benton 49

FLANDREAU — Three players scored in double figures to pace Flandreau to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Flandreau’s Xavier Bien had 17 points and four rebounds. Jadon Eng added 13 points and six boards. Luke Sheppard totaled 13 points and 10 rebounds.

For ELB, Joseph Nibbe had 13 points and Ethan Wiskur totaled 10 points.


Waubay/Summit 64, Sioux Falls Lutheran 57

SUMMIT — Hogan Hlavacek exploded for 26 points as Waubay/Summit defeated Sioux Falls Lutheran in boys basketball action Friday.

Hlavacek finished with 26 points in the win, Jace Wohlleber added 12 points, Evan Aker had 10 points while McKoy Pereboom collected six points in the win.

For SFL, Sam Borg tallied 22 points, Rowen Becker added 15 points while Abbott Moeller recorded 12 points in the loss.


Leola/Frederick Area 43, Warner 37

WARNER — Leola/Frederick Area clipped Warner in boys basketball action Friday.

Winston Clark and Milo Sumption each had 14 points in the win for the Titans. Westyn Thorpe totaled seven points. 

Warner’s Brennan Wolf-Donat scored 15 points. Jesiah Baum scored seven points, while Brayden Kroll had five points. 


McCook Central-Montrose 50, Elk Point-Jefferson 34

ELK POINT — Dawson Dorr’s 19-point double-double powered McCook Central-Montrose over Elk Point-Jefferson in boys basketball action Friday.

Dorr finished with 19 points, 21 rebounds, four blocks and two steals, Ben Wiebersick added 12 points, five assists and two steals while Zane McCormick and Andrew Sabers each had five points in the win.

For EPJ, Brody Van Roekel had 12 points and two steals while Aiden Hammitt recorded eight points in the loss.


De Smet 65, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 21

RUTLAND — Noah Luethmers and Grant Wilkinson led Class B No. 2 De Smet to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Luethmers finished with 24 points and six rebounds. Wilkinson totaled 22 points and 19 rebounds. Carter Wilkinson added nine points and eight rebounds. Slayten Wilkinson and Jordan Botkin scored five points apiece, while Wilkinson had eight rebounds. 

For ORR, Brodie Albertson finished with 14 points and four rebounds. 


Howard 67, Arlington 49

ARLINGTON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Howard to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Howard’s Brody Spader finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, five 3-pointers and four assists. Owen Feldhaus recorded 13 points and six rebounds. Kolt Becker totaled 10 points and eight boards. Caden Schwader recorded eight points and five boards. Chas Schumaker added seven points, six rebounds and five assists. 

For Arlington, Paxton Rheault finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Jake Burns totaled 10 points and eight rebounds. Max Josephsen scored six points. 


Groton Area 67, Britton-Hecla 27

GROTON — Four players scored in double figures to power Class A No. 7 Groton Area to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Groton Area’s Ryder Johnson finished with 19 points and five rebounds. Karson Zak added 17 points, four assists and three rebounds. Keegen Tracy had 13 points, three rebounds and three assists. Gage Sippel totaled 10 points and seven boards. Easton Weber scored six points and Becker Bosma had eight rebounds. 

For BH, Jaxon Zuehlke scored nine points and Ben Folkman added five points. 


Dakota Valley 55, Madison 48

NORTH SIOUX CITY — Three players scored in double figures to power Dakota Valley to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Aaron Bruns totaled 13 points, five assists and three rebounds. Tatum Sorensen added 11 points and four rebounds. Ty DeGeorgia had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Grady Ramos totaled eight points and four rebounds. Luke Anema added four points and eight boards.

For Madison, Henry Veenhof had 13 points and seven rebounds. Shane Veenhof added nine points and three assists. 


Vermillion 69, Ponca (Neb.) 51

VERMILLION — Trey Hansen and Luke Jensen powered Class A No. 8 Vermillion to a boys basketball win on Friday.

Hansen finished with 33 points, nine steals and six assists. Jensen added 20 points and nine rebounds.
