West Central 56, Aberdeen Roncalli 53 (3OT)

MADISON — Kacey Jaton dropped 28 points as West Central knocked off Class A No. 8 Aberdeen Roncalli in triple overtime at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Jaton finished with 28 points, Ellie Knight added 15 points while Kaylie Schultz totaled five points in the win.

For Roncalli, Claire Crawford led with 20 points, Morgan Helms added eight points, Gabby Thomas recorded seven points while Rylee Voeller added six points in the loss.


Sioux Falls Christian 53, Clark/Willow Lake 29

MADISON — Class A No. 5 Sioux Falls Christian pulled away from Class A No. 6 Clark/Willow Lake for a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Lezlei Setzer finished with 18 points for the Chargers.

CWL’s Kamryn Nesheim totaled nine points and four rebounds. Shelby Begeman added seven points and seven boards. Jenny Bevers totaled five points and Brynn Roehrich had five boards. 


Milbank 46, Tri-Valley 44

MADISON — Belle Pauli and Bailee Hendricks combined for 38 points as Milbank clipped Tri-Valley at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Pauli finished with 20 points while Hendricks added 18 points on six three-pointers in the win.

Tri-Valley's Hailey Sorenson led the Mustangs with 18 points, Peyton Vogt and Mattie Huwe each had eight points while Rowyn Gacke tallied six points in the loss.


Mobridge-Pollock 65, Dell Rapids 41

MADISON — Tegan Konold's 21-point game guided Mobridge-Pollock to a girls basketball win over Dell Rapids at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Konold finished with 21 points, Blake Thompson added 13 points, Faith Heil recorded nine points while Brooke Bain had seven points in the win.

For DR, Rorie Thoreson led with 23 points while Jersi Schultz added 10 points in the loss.


Vermillion 55, Deuel 32

MADISON — Taylor Reuvers powered Vermillion to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Reuvers totaled 33 points and five rebounds. 

For Deuel, Camdyn Peterreins recorded 17 points and nine rebounds. Alayna Carlson had eight points and four rebounds. 


Groton Area 51, Canton 38

MADISON — Three players scored in double figures to power Groton Area to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Groton Area’s Jerica Locke totaled 15 points, while Jaedyn Penning totaled 13 points and 13 rebounds. Taryn Traphagen added 11 points. Rylee Dunker had 14 boards. 

For Canton, Camryn Skiles scored 15 points and Mya Anderson added 12 points. 


Dakota Valley 61, Sisseton 59

MADISON — Dakota Valley clipped Sisseton for a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

DV’s Katie Betsworth recorded 21 points and six rebounds. Aubree Worden added 18 points and six boards. 

For Sisseton, Fallon Hawkins scored 21 points and Piper Langager scored 12 points. 


Madison 45, Bon Homme 41

MADISON — Madison outlasted Bon Homme for a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Madison’s Jaya Engels finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Grace Feige had nine points and seven rebounds. Madison Rummel totaled eight points. Logan Prostrollo had four points and nine boards. 

For BH, Taycee Ranek totaled 21 points and 20 rebounds. Olivia Kaul added 12 points and five rebounds. Addison Reynolds recorded five points.


Sioux Falls Christian 53, Clark/Willow Lake 29

MADISON — Class A No. 5 Sioux Falls Christian defeated Class A No. 6 Clark-Willow Lake at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

MADISON — Cera Schmitz powered Elk Point-Jefferson to a girls basketball win at Saturday’s Dak-XII/NEC Clash.

Schmitz finished with 26 points, four 3-pointers and four rebounds. Makinley Hammitt added 11 points and six boards. 

For Redfield, Charli Jungwirth finished with nine points and nine boards. Hayden Gall scored seven points and added five boards. Kinley Smith and Rylen Frericks scored six points apiece. 


Jones County 54, North Central 39

HIGHMORE — Three players scored in double figures to lead Jones County to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

JC’s Aubrey Tucker totaled 17 points, while Mallory Venard scored 13 points. BreAna Aske had 10 points, while Jacey Jensen scored seven points. Sunny Valburg had five points.

For NC, Amree Vander Vorst scored 26 points. Tylee Vander Vorst and Peyton Schnabel scored five points apiece. 


Arlington 57, Great Plains Lutheran 33

WATERTOWN — Jaelyn Huntimer and Lauryn Mutziger powered Arlington to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Huntimer finished with 28 points and hit four 3-pointers. Mutziger added 17 points and Seeley VanOverbeke totaled eight points. 

For GPL, Julia Prahl scored 12 points. Emily Moritz scored seven points and Kate Hoffman added six points. 


Ethan 66, Irene-Wakonda 42

FLANDREAU — Taziah Hawkins powered Class B No. 4 Ethan to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Hawkins finished with 25 points and hit four 3-pointers. Marissa Storm added 19 points and five 3-pointers. Sadie Mueller had nine points, while Rachel Klock added six points. 

For IW, Emily Oien scored 13 points and Bella Healy added 10 points. Ava George scored nine points and Julia Sees had eight points. 


Waubay-Summit 65, Elkton-Lake Benton 42

SUMMIT — Three players scored in double figures to power Waubay-Summit to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

WS’s Addison Heinje recorded 18 points and Caley Boik scored 16 points. Brynlee Amdahl had 15 points on five 3-pointers. Kayce Berger added eight points. 

For ELB, Charlie Thooft scored 20 points and Sydney DeVries totaled 12 points. Jocelyn Prosch scored six points.

FLANDREAU — Morgan Sheppard’s double-double paced Flandreau to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Sheppard finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

MARTIN — Peyson O’Neill and Reagan O’Neill powered Class B No. 3 Bennett County to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Peyson O’Neill finished with 34 points, while Reagan O’Neill added 19 points. Harley Harris added eight points and Madi Waln scored seven points. 


Bishop Heelan (Iowa) 64, Lyman 32

SIOUX FALLS — Class B No. 1 Lyman dropped a girls basketball decision against Bishop Heelan (Iowa) on Saturday.

Lyman’s Jordyn Scott finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Bree Smart and Mak Scott added eight points apiece. Scott added nine rebounds, while Smart had four boards. Kenzie Wagner had 11 rebounds. 


Spearfish 61, Mitchell 55

SPEARFISH — Four players scored in double figures to power Spearfish to a girls basketball win on Saturday.

Spearfish’s Kate Scharf and Finley Bouman scored 14 points apiece. Scharf and Bouman hit three 3-pointers apiece. Anna Eisenbarth and Adelyn Bauman scored 11 points apiece. Kali Reiners had six points.

For Mitchell, Londyn Hajek and CeCe Morgan scored 15 points apiece. Hajek hit three 3-pointers. Addie Siemsen scored 12 points. Mia Larson and Londyn Schroeder scored six and five points apiece. 


Sioux Falls O’Gorman 73, Rapid City Central 51

RAPID CITY — Ruby Moore and Sydney Terveen powered Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls O’Gorman to a girls basketball win over No. 4 Rapid City Central on Saturday.

Moore finished with 28 points, six 3-pointers and three rebounds. Terveen added 18 points and five boards. London Backes scored nine points.

For Rapid City Central, Leah Landry had 18 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Chloe Shreve had 10 points. Colee Kruse added seven points and four rebounds. Olivia Pierce totaled six points, while Persayah Parker and Emma Casey scored five points apiece.
