Sioux Falls Roosevelt 60, Huron 58

SIOUX FALLS — Bryson Skogsberg’s coast-to-coast layup with 15 seconds left propelled Sioux Falls Roosevelt to a boys basketball win over Class AA No. 5 Huron on Tuesday. 

Roosevelt’s Isaiah Garang scored 11 points.  


Stanley County 63, Todd County 49 

FORT PIERRE — Kaden Montana powered Stanley County to a boys basketball win over Todd County on Tuesday.

Montana tossed in a game-high 32 points, while Eddie Duffy added 15 points. Paxton Deal scored eight points.

Todd County’s Kendrik Easter scored 19 points and Stephen Lone Dog had 10 points. Ty Valandra and Rueben Iron Horse scored five points apiece.


McCook Central-Montrose 67, Parkston 62

PARKSTON — Lane Deutsch and Mason Sabers combined for 35 points in the McCook Central-Montrose’s victory over Parkston Tuesday.

Deutsch finished with 18 points while Sabers had 17 points. Jackson Schmidt added 11 points and seven rebounds while Owen Schmidt collected eight points in the win.

Parkston’s Brycen Bruening had a game-high 26 points, 10 rebounds and three assists, Reco Muilenburg tallied 19 points and two steals while James Deckert had 13 points in the loss.


Hanson 63, Wagner 57

WAGNER — Tye Hernandez dropped 23 points during Hanson’s victory over Wagner Tuesday.

Hernandez had 23 points, Ben Wilber tallied 14 points, Sutton DeWald tallied nine points, Conner Endorf tallied eight points while AJ Wilber had seven points in the win.

Wagner’s Brady Cournoyer tallied 21 points in the loss, Preston McFayden recorded 14 points, while Carlos Galindo and Ky Arpan each had eight points in the loss.


Viborg-Hurley 56, Canistota 44

VIBORG — Class B No. 1 Viborg-Hurley defeated Canistota in boys basketball action on Tuesday night.

Viborg-Hurley’s Nick Hanson scored a game-high 25 points. 

Canistota’s Brady Scott had 16 points. Easton Miller tallied 11 points in the loss.


Rapid City Christian 70, Mahpiya Luta 40

RAPID CITY — Class A No. 3 Rapid City Christian used a balanced scoring attack to defeat Mahpiya Luta in boys basketball action on Tuesday. 

Rapid City Christian’s Simon Kieffer finished with 20 points and three 3-pointers. Benson Kieffer scored 14 points and Julius Frog tallied 13 points. Wes Schlabach had 11 points and Sully Kieffer added six points.

For Mahpiya Luta, Braylon Little scored 12 points and hit three 3-pointers. Chaytan Palmier and Memphis Brewer scored eight points apiece. 


West Central 78, Tri-Valley 46

HARTFORD — Connor Mebius powered Class A No. 4 West Central to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Mebius finished with 31 points and three steals. Carter Tetzlaff added 18 points. Will Kuhl powered seven points, six rebounds and five assists. Luke Knight had six rebounds and four assists. Elliot DeJong had six boards. 

Tri-Valley’s Brady Jewett and Aiden Bunde scored eight points apiece. Alex Wingen had seven points.


Hamlin 66, Milbank 32

MILBANK — Three players scored in double figures during Class A No. 2 Hamlin’s victory over Milbank Tuesday.

Zac Van Meeteren tallied 20 points and eight rebounds, Easton Neuendorf tallied 16 points, six assists and three rebounds, Boden Stevenson tallied eight points while Evan Stormo had five points in the win.

Milbank’s Bryan Meyer had a team-high 10 points, Ryan Keeton had seven points while Emmett Hanson recorded six points in the loss.


Highmore-Harrold 61, Sunshine Bible Academy 44

MILLER — Three players scored in double figures during Highmore-Harrold’s victory over Sunshine Bible Academy Tuesday.

Jordan Erfman led with 20 points and 10 rebounds, Caleb Roth had 12 points and 14 boards, Aidan Ferens collected 10 points and five assists, Brooks McPeak had nine points and seven rebounds while Miles McPeak had eight points in the win.

SBA’s Trey Thieman tallied 15 points while Jerome Big Eagle had eight points and six boards in the loss.


Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 60, Ethan 54

FORESTBURG — Three players scored in double figures to power Sanborn Central/Woonsocket to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

SCW’s Landon Jensen finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. Grant Edwards added 13 points, four rebounds and four steals. McCoy Schulz had 12 points, six rebounds and five steals. Evan Easton scored eight points, while Sam Baruth added six points and five rebounds. 


Dell Rapids 53, Flandreau 38

FLANDREAU — Karson Paye and Lincoln Anderson combined for 30 points to pace Dell Rapids to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Paye scored 17 points and Anderson added 13 points. 

For Flandreau, Kody Kneebone had nine points and five rebounds. Alexavier Poitra logged nine points.


Tripp-Delmont/Armour 64, Gayville-Volin 53

TRIPP — Isaac Wunder poured in 30 points as Tripp-Delmont/Armour defeated Gayville-Volin Tuesday.

Wunder had 30 points while Riley Spaans collected 12 points in the win.

Karstens finished with 33 points and five rebounds for the Raiders while Will Pirak and Nate Selchert each had six points in the loss.


Centerville 82, Alcester-Hudson 61

CENTERVILLE — Five players scored in double figures to power Centerville to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Centerville’s Miles Eide recorded 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Ethan Bobzin added 15 points and three steals. Alec Austin and Jase Brouwer scored 13 points apiece. Austin added six rebounds and three assists. Aiden Bobzin had 11 points, five assists and four rebounds. Corbin Tople had five points and six rebounds.

For AH, Ethan Bovill scored 17 points and Jose Topete-Lopez scored 14 points. Evan Haak had 13 points. 


Scotland-Menno 63, Avon 30

SCOTLAND — Three players scored in double figures during Scotland-Menno’s victory over Avon Tuesday.

Izayah Ulmer led with 14 points and three assists, Bryce Sattler tallied 11 points, six rebounds and six steals, Ashton Dennis recorded 10 points and three assists, while Trent Guthmiller collected six rebounds in the win.

Avon’s Aziah Meyer had eight points and eight rebounds, Zander Fathke had six points and four steals, while Grayson Ratzlaff had five points in the loss.


Vermillion 61, Beresford 38

BERESFORD — Three players scored in double figures to pace Vermillion to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Vermillion’s Trey Hansen had 20 points. Landon Cerny and Luke Jensen finished with 10 points apiece. 

Beresford’s Aidan Hamm had 19 points. 


Mitchell 66, Sioux Falls Jefferson 49 

MITCHELL — Colton Smith and Gavin Hinker combined for 42 points and 14 rebounds to power Class AA No. 3 Mitchell to a boys basketball win on Tuesday.

Smith tallied 22 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Hinker added 20 points and seven boards. Owen Raml recorded nine points and Parker Mandel added six points. Markus Talley totaled seven points and six rebounds. 

For Jefferson, Colby Nuttbrock recorded 13 points and eight rebounds. Ethan Swenson scored nine points, while Mason Payne had eight points and five rebounds. Damaris Fields recorded six points. Edward Whiting added five points and four rebounds.
