Centerville 55, Bridgewater-Emery 49  

EMERY — Centerville rallied past Bridgewater-Emery for a boys basketball win on Thursday. 


Parkston 65, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 40

PARKSTON — Three players scored in double figures to pace Parkston to a boys basketball win on Thursday. 

Parkston’s James Deckert had 19 points and seven rebounds. Brycen Bruening added 14 points and four assists. Mason Jervik scored 12 points and grabbed five boards. Elliott Leischner grabbed eight rebounds. 

For SCW, Grant Edwards scored 11 points and Sam Baruth added nine points. Landon Jensen scored eight points. Zane McCormick and Jackson Schmidt collected seven rebounds apiece. 


Wall 69, White River 24

WALL — Wall coasted past White River for a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Wall’s Emmet Dinger scored 22 points and hit five 3-pointers. Jace Mohr had 13 points. Trevor Schulz recorded 11 points and three 3-pointers 

For White River, Bryson One Star had 12 points and Teagen Bouman had six points. 


Mobridge-Pollock 56, Belle Fourche 47

BELLE FOURCHE — Kyle Knudson and Jackson Eisemann combined for 30 points as Mobridge-Pollock defeated Belle Fourche in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Knudson finished with 17 points and Eisemann added 13 points. Shane Henderson and Easton Eisemann scored eight points apiece. Shooter Frederick had seven points.

For Belle Fourche, Sern Weishaar scored 22 points and four 3-pointers. Aidan Keil and Harvey Walding scored six points apiece. Jet Jensen had five points. 


Dell Rapids St. Mary 85, Iroquois/Lake Preston 54

DELL RAPIDS — Trevon Beckman tossed in a career-high 46 points as Class B No. 3 Dell Rapids St. Mary topped Iroquois/Lake Preston in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Maverick LeBrun added 21 points. 


West Central 67, Tea Area 52

HARTFORD — Connor Mebius and Will Kuhl combined for 51 points as Class A No. 4 West Central defeated Tea Area in basketball action Thursday. 

Mebius finished with 28 points and six assists to lead the Trojans. Kuhl added 23 points and 13 rebounds and Kolte Garry chipped in with five rebounds. 

Marshall Smythe led Tea Area with 22 points. Griffin Wiebenga added 16 points and Jaxson Merrigan added nine points in the loss. 

 

Sioux Valley 55, Flandreau 53

FLANDREAU — Sioux Valley clipped Flandreau in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Maverick Nelson finished with 18 points.

For Flandreau, Alfie Henderson recorded 21 points. Paul Parsley added 13 points, five assists and five rebounds. Micah Otto scored 11 points.


Waubay/Summit 55, Florence-Henry 40

WAUBAY — Traveion Neilan and Hogan Hlavacek combined for 37 points as Waubay/Summit defeated Florence-Henry in boys basketball action Thursday.

Neilan knocked down four 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 25 points while Hlavacek chipped in with 12 points. 

Carson Vavruska powered Florence-Henry with 14 points while Carson Kelly added 10 points. 


Dakota Valley 66, Elk Point-Jefferson 39

ELK POINT — Luke Bruns and Logan Collette combined for 40 points as Dakota Valley defeated Elk Point-Jefferson in boys basketball action Thursday. 

Collette powered Dakota Valley with 19 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Bruns had a game high 21 points and added four rebounds and four assists. 

Chase Swanson led EPJ with 18 points. 


De Smet 75, Elkton-Lake Benton 64

ELKTON — A huge night from Grant Wilkinson helped De Smet earn a road win over Elkton-Lake Benton on Thursday. 

Wilkinson powered the Bulldogs with a school-record 46 points and 18 rebounds. Wilkinson broke the previous record set by Brad Kruse and Cody Siver, with 42 points apiece. Noah Luethmers added 14 points while Sam Gigov chipped in with eight points. 

Tanner Drietz led Elkton-Lake Benton with 37 points, including six made 3-pointers. Joseph Nibbe also reached double figures scoring 10 points. 


Hanson 60, Mount Vernon/Plankinton 53

ALEXANDRIA — Three players scored in double figures to pace Hanson to a boys basketball win on Thursday.

Hanson’s AJ Wilber finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Ben Wilber added 19 points and 12 rebounds. Tye Hernandez had 12 points and five rebounds. Sutton Dewald had eight points and five assists. Carter Popp had five rebounds. 

MVP stats were not reported. 


Deubrook Area 65, Arlington 25

ARLINGTON — A balanced scoring attack helped Deubrook Area earn a win over Arlington in boys basketball action Thursday. 

Chance Schoenfeld powered the Dolphins with 19 points, three rebounds and five steals. Braxton Bednarek scored 12 points and Josh Mitchell chipped in with eight points and four rebounds. 

Miles Antonen led Arlington with 11 points. 


Leola-Frederick Area 58, Warner 51

LEOLA — Noah Kippley and Milo Sumption combined for 33 points as Class B No. 5 Leola-Frederick Area edged Warner in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Kippley finished with 22 points and six 3-pointers. Sumption added 11 points, while Westyn Thorpe scored eight points. Ethan Petrich had seven points and Gavin Nickelson had six points.

For Warner, Drew Bakeberg had 14 points and Brennan Wolf-Donat scored 12 points. Jesiah Baum and Brayden Knoll scored nine points apiece. 


Waverly-South Shore 45, Ipswich 35

IPSWICH — Sam Appelhof recorded a double-double as Waverly-South Shore defeated Ipswich in boys basketball action on Thursday. 

Appelhof finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Kneeland had seven points, while Brady Eschen and Zach Ries scored six points apiece. 

For Ipswich, Max Kulesa had 14 points and seven rebounds. Tucker Kadlec logged four points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Hettich recorded four rebounds, four assists and three steals. Jaxon Holt scored nine points.
