CORALVILLE, ILL — Former Spearfish standout and current North Central College sophomore Taylor Graveman (138) finished fifth at the 2025 College National wrestling tournament. 

Graveman’s team, North Central College finished second at the national tournament with 181 points, trailing only national champion Iowa (201). 

Graveman, 25-9 on the season, beat Ashlynn Goodwin of Fort Hayes State, 8-3 in the opening round. In the second round she defeated Wartburg’s Aniyah Kelly with a first period technical fall (10-0). In the quarterfinal she pinned Presbyterian’s Carina Giangeuso in 5:59.

In the semifinals Graveman lost a 5-1 decision to McKendree University’s Haylie Jaffe. 

Graveman is now a two-time All-American having finished seventh (136) as a freshman.
