EUGENE, Oregon — Hamlin’s Gracelyn Leiseth won girls shot put at Saturday’s Nike Outdoor Nationals.

Leiseth won the event with a toss of 52-feet and 1.75 inches, finishing nearly close to three feet ahead of the second place finisher. The future University of Florida thrower finished second in the girls discus on Friday. 

Mount Vernon/Plankinton’s Berkeley Engelland placed eighth in the girls garmin 800-meter run in 2:10.42, finishing four seconds behind the first-place runner.
