Hanson boys, Chester Area girls win Dell Rapids St. Mary golf titles

DELL RAPIDS — The Hanson boys and Chester Area girls claimed team titles at Tuesday’s Dell Rapids St. Mary Invitational. 

The Hanson boys carded a 252, finishing ahead of Howard (261) and Deubrook Area (264). The Chester Area girls scored a 268, placing ahead of Deubrook Area (288) and Howard (299). 

Hanson’s A.J. Wilber was the boys individual medalist with an 80, edging his twin brother Ben Wilber (81) for the win. Deubrook Area’s Gavin Landmark (83), Chester Area’s Will Seeley (83) and Howard’s Lane Hodges (84) rounded out the top five. 

Chester Area’s Ayla McDonald (84) was the girls individual medalist. Deubrook Area’s Allison Andrews (86) and Bailey Landmark (86) tied for second. Chester Area’s Jadyn McDonald (88) and Colman-Egan’s Berkley Groos (91) rounded out the top five.
