LAS VEGAS — The Harrisburg High School volleyball team went 3-0 in pool play at the prestigious Durango Classic on Sept. 19. The event features 14 nationally-ranked teams according to MaxPreps.com. The Tigers are ranked No. 14th in the nation. 

The Tigers went 3-0 against Los Alamitos (California), Redwood (California) and Village Christian (California), dropping only one set in the three matches. The Tigers beat Redwood (27-25, 25-16), Los Alamitos (25-19, 22-25, 25-19) and Village Christian (25-9, 25-14). 

The Tigers will play No. 8 Torrey Pines (California) to start the qualifying rounds on Saturday.
