Aberdeen Central jumped out to a 27-7 halftime lead and topped Mitchell 33-14 on Saturday at Joe Quintal Field. 

Aberdeen Central’s Sam Rohlfs threw for 153 yards and had three touchdown passes. He added 44 rushing yards and another score. Rohlfs threw three touchdown passes in the first half for a 20-0 lead. 

Karson Carda rushed for 75 of Aberdeen Central’s 195 rushing yards. Jacob Merxbauer hauled in 98 receiving yards and had two touchdown receptions. Drew Salfrank added 45 receiving yards and a touchdown reception. 

For Mitchell, Treyson Schulz rushed for 114 yards and two scores. He added 112 passing yards and threw two interceptions. Josh Grosdidier added 80 rushing yards for Mitchell, which rushed for 255 yards. Jace Larson hauled in 29 receiving yards. 

Aberdeen Central finished with 348 yards and Mitchell racked up 367 total yards. Defensively, Aberdeen Central’s Collin Huff had 10 total tackles and Parker Bauer intercepted two passes. Mitchell’s Jake Helleloid posted six tackles.

Winner 54, St. Thomas More 7

RAPID CITY -- Class 11B No. 1 Winner rolled up 459 total yards and 363 yards on the ground in a win over St. Thomas More on Saturday. 

Riley Orel led the rushing attack with 131 yards on eight carries. Joey Cole added two rushing touchdowns and threw for three touchdowns on 96 passing yards. Riley Shippy added 93 rushing yards and a touchdown score. Kaleb Osborn and Jack Peters each scored rushing touchdowns. Ethan Bartels hauled in two touchdown receptions and Orel caught a touchdown pass. Orel and Micheal Olson added interceptions on defense. 

For STM, Matthew Larson scored its lone touchdown. Lee Neugebauer threw for 121 yards and Peyton Young had 57 receiving yards.
