Bridgewater-Emery 3, Freeman 0

EMERY -- Bridgewater-Emery swept Freeman in straight sets in prep volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-21 and 25-23.

Julia Weber led the Huskies with 19 kills and nine digs. Taylor Schallenkamp added 10 kills, while Chloe Schmitt finished with eight kills. Schmitt added two blocks, while Morgan Uptagrafft contributed two blocks and three kills. Cara Meyer added 25 digs, while Katilyn Roskens finished with 19 assists. Casey Meyer posted 16 assists and two aces. 

No stats were reported for Freeman. 


Hanson 3, Canistota 2

ALEXANDRIA -- Hanson outlasted Canistota in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 8-25 and 17-15.

Annalyse Weber led the Beavers with 11 kills, 10 digs and three aces. Kate Haiar added five kills, 10 digs and three blocks. Jalyn Kampshoff posted 18 assists and 10 digs. Skylar Holm finished with 13 digs, while Kylie Haiar added eight digs and four kills. Kiana Berg had two blocks and Erin Dewald had two aces.

For Canistota, Sydnee Engbrecht posted 15 kills, 17 digs and four aces. Kayla Papendick had 14 kills and 40 digs. Natalee Hofer finished with 25 assists, 10 digs and six aces. Sierra McGregor posted seven kills, while Presley Acheson had 22 digs and seven aces. Natalie Becker had 31 digs and Hannah Remacle posted 15 digs. Taylor McGregor finished with nine kills and six digs. 


De Smet 3, Sioux Valley 2

De SMET -- De Smet rallied from a 2-0 deficit and edged Sioux Valley in a five-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 23-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20 and 15-11.

Kennadi Buchholz led the Bulldogs with 19 kills and 13 digs. Jada Burke recorded seven kills, nine digs and four aces. Cori Birkel finished with 12 digs and three kills. Emma Albrecht posted 17 assists, 10 digs and four kills. Jacie McCune posted six kills. Ella Poppinga posted seven digs. Olivia Johnson had four digs and five kills. Katelyn Halverson had 18 assists and four digs. 

For Sioux Valley, Reagan Johnson posted 12 kills, seven digs and three aces. Ashley Bjerke finished with 19 assists, 10 digs and five kills. Kasey Pistulka and Katie Richarz had 15 and 10 digs, respectively. Kaedyn Sapp had nine kills and five digs. Julia Steffensen had seven digs. Talya Vincent finished with eight assists and three digs. 


Northwestern 3, Miller 0

MELLETTE -- Northwestern picked up a three-set sweep over Miller in Tuesday high school volleyball action. The set scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-13.

Ella Haven led the Wildcats with 17 kills, nine digs, five aces and two block assists. Emma Grandpre posted 10 kills, while Haiden Grandpre had seven kills. Brooklinn Halvorson had 33 assists, 10 digs, three aces and two block assists. Teryn Sparling recorded three aces and Sawyer Style had three block assists.

For Miller, Ally Mullaney had 13 kills. Jaden Werdel and Abigail Blake had six kills apiece. Blake and Werdel had nine and eight digs, respectively. Werdel added two solo blocks, while Blake had two block assists. Tyra Gates finished with 27 assists and eight digs. Ruby Carder had two aces. Tricia Lammers finished with one solo block and one block assist. 


Winner 3, Lyman 0

WINNER -- Winner swept Lyman in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-15, 25-15 and 25-8. 

Ellie Brozik led the Warriors with 12 kills, four aces and three block assists. Skyler Hansen and Libbie Petersek had four kills apiece. Jenna Hammerbeck and Aleya Miller had four aces apiece. Hammerbeck and Rylee Root had six and five digs, respectively. Alexis Klein dished out 19 assists. Karlee Brozik added two solo blocks and two block assists.

For Lyman, Ellie Eriksen had six kills. Caysen Gran and Ambrus Brakke had six and two assists, respectively. Brakke added 15 digs and Skyler Volmer finished with eight digs. Rachel Hoffer added two solo blocks.


Parkston 3, Corsica-Stickney 1

CORSICA -- Parkston topped Corsica-Stickney in four sets in prep volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-19, 16-25 and 25-17.

Mya Nuebel posted 12 kills and 10 digs. Brielle Bruening had 22 digs, nine kills, three blocks and three aces. Allison Ziebart recorded seven kills, seven digs and two blocks. Faith Oakley finished with 27 assists, 10 digs and four kills. Abby Hohn recorded six kills and five blocks. Avery Bogenreif had six assists and four aces. Gracie Oakley had six kills and Kiauna Hargens had nine digs. 

For Corsica-Stickney, Rachel Gerlach finished with 12 kills and 17 digs. Payton DeLange had 10 kills and 15 digs. Morgan Clites finished with nine kills and 24 digs. Casey Tolsma posted 18 digs and five kills. Jacey Kemp recorded three digs and three kills. Sutten Eide posted 37 assists, 13 digs and three aces. Cora Heidinger posted eight digs and two aces.  


Madison 3, Ethan 0

MADISON -- Madison earned a three-set sweep over Ethan in a Tuesday high school volleyball match. The set scores were 25-22, 25-20 and 25-17.

Audrey Nelson had 15 kills and two blocks. Amanda Vacanti and Megan Schouwenburg had two kills apiece. Vacanti posted 15 digs and one block, while Kylie Krusemark added 13 digs and 24 assists. Maycee Theede had three aces and Karley Lurz had one ace. 

For Ethan, Bella Nesheim finished with 10 kills and 14 digs. Hannah Bartscher recorded 12 digs and two kills. Ava Lingemann had nine assists and two aces. Maddy Bartscher added eight assists. 


Chester Area 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 0

CHESTER -- Chester Area topped Elkton-Lake Benton in straight sets in a prep volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-22.

Brecklyn Ewoldt finished with 14 kills, 14 digs and one ace for the Flyers. Addisyn Bates and Jayda Kenyon had seven kills apiece. Lily VanHal and Carly Becker had 18 and 12 assists, respectively. VanHal added seven kills and one ace and Kenyon added two blocks. Emery Larson recorded 28 digs. 

For ELB, Rachael Krog had 10 kills and seven digs. Madisyn Nielsen had six kills and three digs. Tevan Erickson posted 20 assists, 16 digs and two blocks. Kayla Goertz and Kailyn Drietz had 11 and 10 digs, respectively. Malayna Hemmen finished with two aces. Kylie Ramlo had nine digs and two block assists. 


Howard 3, Menno 1

HOWARD -- Howard topped Menno in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-19, 26-24, 22-25 and 25-18.

Kate Connor led the Tigers with 10 kills and four blocks. Piper Thompson added eight kills and 13 digs. Abby Aslesen recorded six kills and six aces. Rylee Rudebusch posted 21 digs, nine assists, four kills and one ace. Emma Rudebusch finished with 13 assists and 13 digs. Aleya Kizer had 16 digs and five kills. Canyon Kidd had six digs. 

For Menno, Bridget Vaith and Josephine Stokes had 10 kills apiece, while Stokes had seven digs and Vaith had three digs. Raygen Diede had 12 digs, eight kills and two aces. Julia Buechler finished with 24 digs, two kills, two aces and two assists. Madelyn Kludt posted 17 digs and two assists. Paityn Huber finished with 16 assists, 19 digs and three kills. Grace Nusz had 13 assists, seven digs and four kills. Halle VanHove posted 12 digs and two assists. 


Arlington 3, Waverly-South Shore 0

ARLINGTON -- Arlington swept Waverly-South Shore in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-11, 25-7 and 25-8.

Hadley Carlson finished with 16 kills and Morgan Larsen had eight kills. Grace Parry posted 23 assists and three digs, while Addie Steffensen had seven assists. Tanaya Weiss recorded five digs and Ava Bunker posted five aces. Erin Haufschild recorded three aces and Natalie Burns had a block. Maddi Bacon added three digs. 

For WSS, Bridget Eschen had five kills and one ace. Emily Heuer finished with six assists, while Capri Schroeder had nine digs. Sidney Stricherz posted seven digs. Daytona Maas had an ace and Sophie Dalton had a block. 


Castlewood 3, Deuel 1

CLEAR LAKE -- Castlewood topped Deuel in a four-set high school volleyball match on Tuesday. The set scores were 13-25, 25-23, 25-14 and 25-23.

Presley Knecht had 16 kills, 18 digs and three aces. Mackenzie Everson finished with eight kills and 27 digs. Maddie Horn posted 16 digs, six kills and two aces. Gracie Haug recorded 21 assists and Kailyn Larson had 11 assists. 

For Deuel, Haley Winter had 17 kills and 31 digs. Josie Andersen finished with six kills, two aces, two solo blocks and two block assists. Gracie Fieber had 16 assists and Alyson Hagberg posted 14 assists. Darby Koeckecke had 19 digs and Hallie Bury had two aces. 


Wilmot 3, Tiospa Zina 0

WILMOT -- Wilmot swept Tiospa Zina in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-18, 25-17 and 25-17.

Marissa Getzlaff led the Wolves with eight kills and three aces. Maddie Redmund finished with 13 assists and one ace. Paige Johnson added four kills and four digs. Kayla Hamann posted two solo blocks. Ashlyn Ebben and Julia Anderson had four kills apiece.

Oldham-Ramona/Rutland 3, Iroquois/Doland 0

RUTLAND -- Oldham-Ramona/Rutland swept Iroquois/Doland in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-16, 25-22 and 25-10.

ORR’s Julia Trygstad finished with 14 kills and Alivia Bickett had six kills. Bickett added 21 digs and six aces. Paige Hanson posted 17 assists, four aces and two blocks. Brooklyn Hageman dished out 10 assists and Sine Matson added 19 digs. 

For Iroquois/Doland, Katie Dubro finished with four kills and 12 digs. Becca Bich finished with three kills, three assists and two aces. Harley Nelson recorded four assists, two kills and seven digs. Kaylee Moorhead added seven kills, while Anna Decker posted three aces and one block.


Sunshine Bible Academy 3, Crow Creek 0

MILLER -- Sunshine Bible Academy swept Crow Creek in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-21, 25-22 and 26-24.

Sadie Konechne finished with five kills and Aja Paul posted four kills. Paul and Liza Konechne had six aces apiece. Jakki Burma recorded four assists and one block. Betra Amare had two digs and Kennedy Keck had one dig. Annaliese Van Zee recorded a kill.

Elk Point-Jefferson swept Lennox in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 25-18, 31-29 and 25-16.

Bentlee Kollbaum finished with nine kills and four digs. Danica Torrez had 10 digs, seven kills and three aces. Natalie Heuertz had seven kills, while Alyssa Chytka had 22 digs. Sophia Giorgio had 11 digs and 23 assists. Ashley Brewer and Josie Curry had five kills and two blocks apiece.

Harrisburg topped Dakota Valley in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Tuesday. The set scores were 26-24, 25-14 and 25-9.

Harrisburg’s Abby Meister had 13 kills and 16 digs. Morrissen Samuels had 12 kills, while Maggie Meister finished with 22 assists. Alissa Dierks added 10 assists and Zoe Rallis had 17 digs. 

For Dakota Valley, Logan Miller had 19 digs and two kills. Sophie Tuttle had 13 digs and four kills. Jorja Vandenhul had six kills. Sam Archer finished with 14 digs and two kills. Katie Van Rooyan added 15 digs and Madeline Stout had five kills.
